3BR, 1 bath, Private Pet Friendly Rental with a large yard sleeps 6-8.

Bring your bass/fishing boat and trailer and leave them in the yard. There is a free boat launch nearby and dockage can be arranged at Chalk's Marina (315-686-5622) or my Alexandria Bay properties five miles away. Bass, Northern, Perch and Muskies are here. This pleasant family spot is just 100 yards from the water in the water-surrounded community of Fishers Landing. The three-bedroom/one-bath home is situated in a large yard. Tennis courts and basketball hoops are right next door. There is plenty to visit all summer within a few miles of the cottage (including 3 State parks, the Antique Boat Museum and Boldt Castle). The cottage is halfway between Clayton and Alexandria Bay, NY. These towns have numerous activities all summer long. After the summer tourists leave, the fishing is still great. There is a gas heater in the cottage to take the chill off (spring or fall). One of the well known Musky fishing areas on the Saint Lawrence is right out in front of Fishers Landing.

Wonderful time in the 1000 islands

My name is Tim and my family with 2 dogs stayed at this cottage and we had a wonderful time. We should have booked further in advance and stayed another week to totally relax! The cottage was extremely clean and wonderful. Anne is a pleasure to deal with and very concerned that all was in order. We appreciated her and her cottage. We look forward to staying there again.

Owner's Response: Even though this family cottage is not right on the water, it is in a pleasant, convenient area, to take advantage of all the 1000 Islands activities.
This family returned to the Thousand Islands in 2009 and have booked for 2010 also.There are lots of things happening all season to keep folks busy.

Great place to stay for a fishing trip

Great cabin for a fishing trip or a relaxing vacation. It's clean, the beds are comfortable and it has a nostalgic quality you don't get very often anymore. Its in a quiet area and has a nice deck for hanging out or grilling. Plenty of room to park the boat and truck. Ms Rogers is very accommodating and available if you ever have any issues. We'll be back!!!!

Perfect get away camp! Perfect for my husband and I. We had sun on the back porch the whole day and close enough to walk to the water for a dip. We cooked almost every meal there and we had all the goods to do so! Place was clean and both Anne and the House keeper called to check in, even though i missed both the calls while we were out on the River....We will defiantly be back to stay.

Nice quiet place to get away.

This was our first time booking something online and it was a good experience. The cottage is older but it was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It is not right on the water but it is not far away and there are many access points not far away. It's a quick drive to Alex Bay and Clayton.
