the very heart of the historic Born area, this is a great place to stay while

El Born has been transformed from a quiet little section of
the city in the early nineties to a hub of activity today. It is peppered with
restaurants, bars, curio shops and nightclubs, all found in the streets that
date back to the 14th century. Of course it is not just famous for
social life, there is a history in this district and it can be found in numerous
must see attractions. There is the breathtaking Santa Maria Del Mar Gothic
Cathedral, which dates from the 14th century, the Picasso museum, the majestic
Palau De Musica, Santa Catarina Market, Parc Ciutadella, with a zoo and of course
you are only a short walk from both the beach and La Rambla. So whether you are interested in culture or just like to party, there is something here for everyone. Jaume is
the nearest metro stop (L-4).
