The living area is situated on the second floor and has a fantastic view over the water. There is a large corner sofa, that converts into a double bed, a flat screen television, and a wardrobe. Upstairs, on the top
floor of the flat, is a stylish, bright double bedroom. With its neutral tones,
it certainly provides a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of city
life. The contemporary,
spacious bathroom is finished to a high standard and features a large shower
unit. This surprisingly spacious
and light apartment, close to the centre of Amsterdam, is a great base from which to explore the city.

The famous Jordaan
area, with its “Negen straatjes” (9 streets), home to many of Amsterdam’s
exciting smaller boutiques, is just a ten-minute walk away. The Palace on Dam
Square or the hectic Kalverstraat shopping street are also within easy reach,
either on foot, by bike or tram. Visit the tempting Lindengracht food market on a
Saturday morning, or the farmers' market on the Noordermarkt. A twenty-minute
stroll away (or five minute tram ride) is the Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh
Museum, the newly reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum
with its collection of world-renowned masterworks. Something for every taste!
For those of you who
want to venture a little further afield, hop on one of the many trams to take
you across Amsterdam. The main train station, Central Station, is also just a
short ride away.
