This recently refurbished apartment is located in the souterrain of a 17th century canal house overlooking the crossing of two canals in a very authentic part of the historic city centre. It is ideal for a couple on a short visit to the city. The apartment has a chic and
elegant decor, with quality furnishing, beautiful lighting and a tasteful
interior design. Two single beds, joined together, are in the middle of the room,
with nightstands and lamps on either side of the bed. There is a thick rug on the parquet floor in front of the
bed, a flat screen TV and a full size mirror on the wall. The open kitchen area is equipped with a microwave (with oven/grill), a fridge, a toaster, an electric kettle and a coffee machine. The kitchen unit is extended and comes with two chairs to create a breakfast table. Situated at the
other end of the room is a modern rain shower, a toilet and a designer washbasin.
Linen and towels are provided. Amenities include a hi-speed internet connection, floor heating and a laundry service (upon request). If booked for a long weekend and the wheather is good, we can offer youu a 1,5 hour boat trip on the Amsterdam canals for € 30. With great facilities and in a

This apartment is located in one of the most picturesque parts of Amsterdam on the Recht Boomssloot, a beautiful small canal in the heart of the historic centre. The location is well known by its lovely small canals, friendly people and great services in the area. From the apartment you can walk to the subway and central railway station within a few minutes and all major shops, bars, restaurants and theatres are within walking distance.
The apartment is perfectly situated for exploring the city. It's just a stone’s throw away from the Rembrandtplein, with its buzzing nightlife, and the Waterlooplein, with its flea market and national dance & opera theatre. The famous Jordaan area, with the “Negen straatjes” (9 streets), home to many of Amsterdam’s exciting smaller boutiques, is just a 15-minute walk away. The Palace on Dam square and the hectic Kalverstraat shopping street are also within easy reach (10-minute walk). On Saturday mornings you can visit the tempting organic food market on Nieuwmarkt square or the Bohemian market on Sunday morning. The Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum with its collection of world renowned masterworks, is but a thirty- minute stroll away (or 5-minute tram ride). There is something for every taste!
