Palm trees sway in the refreshing breeze, providing shade for the weary traveler. Thatched-roofed tiki hut bars dot the beachfront, offering cold drinks for the sun-drenched bather. Swimming and snorkeling in the clear blue water are favorite pastimes for beachcombers. Topless sunbathing is permissible. After a perfect day at the beach, meander back to the villa's private freshwater pool located on the villa's oceanside terrace. It's surrounded by a privacy wall and offers a dramatic view of the ocean and mountains. Whether you sunbathe topless or skinny dip under the moonlit nights, the large, kidney-shaped pool with a seated spa will provide a romantic setting for your get-away vacation. Relax and let our housekeeper/cook, Teresa, happily prepare and serve delicious native Dominican meals of your choosing. There are three stocked grocery stores nearby where you can purchase your food, or you can let Teresa shop for you.
Teresa's infectious smile and personality are a wonderful example of the friendly Dominican people. Restaurants within walking distance or a short ride away will add to your Dominican dining experience. As night approaches, retire to the exquisite master bedroom on the second floor. Watch the moon rise from the turret balcony. Take a soothing bath in the two-person Jacuzzi® tub in the spacious Dominican-tiled master bathroom. Share the large tile shower or the double sink vanity. Listen to the ocean waves as you drift into a restful sleep in the king-size bed. Awake the next morning at your leisure. Some guests have been known to roll over in bed in time to watch the sun rise over the ocean horizon before drifting back to sleep. Teresa arrives each morning to begin preparing a breakfast to die for! Dominicans love their breakfast, and so will you. Meats, eggs, bread, all types of fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice, and much more will await your start of this new, wonderful day.
After breakfast, Teresa will clean your villa and attend to your laundry, freeing you to enjoy all this area has to offer. You can swim with the dolphins -- or enjoy fishing, diving, sailing, golfing, wind-surfing or horseback riding. You can take a safari tour or visit one of the beaches. You can go into town, take the cable car to the top of Mt. Isabela, or tour the countryside. Whatever you choose, your visit will be nothing shy of fabulous at Villa de las Sirenas!
