It is only 145 feet away from the Blue Pacific, you will love waking up to beautiful ocean that is so close you can smell the fresh sea breeze and watch the waves crashing against the lava rock. See dolphins leaping and whales swimming directly in front of the lanai while you toast your special occasions from this home. Fabulous sunset! At night you can enjoy the serenity of peace and quiet or open your windows and allow the soothing sound of the surf to put you to sleep. Enjoy the coastal breeze and the tropical, dry climate all year long. You can walk to the Bay access at the end of road (only 5 minutes away) where during low-moderate surf you can snorkel, swim and kayak. Untouched by commercialism, the nearest secluded Honomalino Beach lined with coconut trees and containing archaeological sites, is 20 minutes hiking from Milolii Beach Park. It is what real Old, Hawaii was on the island and is perfect for the adventurer. A leisurely drive away is the Kailua-Kona downtown shopping areas where you will find a variety of clubs, stores and restaurants. You may wish to dine at the “Captain Cook” (with beach-ocean views) or one of the other surfers type restaurants on winding roads that criss-cross the island. Avoid crowded condo complexes and small hotel rooms. This home allows you to enjoy your Hawaiian holiday at your own pace in a lovely place all your own. If you are looking for adventure, romance, a moment to relax and enjoy Hawaiian decor or just a vacation get-away please come to see all that we have to offer.

Guest Comment entered by Homeowner:: My wife Janet and I loved our stay on the Big Island. We snorkeled, we hiked, we enjoyed the beautiful island, and we did lots of sight seeing. Two-Step, which is by the Place of Refuge. Two-Step offered the best snorkeling, but the snorkeling at Honomalino Beach, was also very nice. We saw whales from the Hula Hut's lani and heard the whales blowing at night. We visited Volcano National Park and did some hiking there, around Crater Road, the Lava Tubes, and the Petroglyths. We also visited lots of Coffee farms. The coffee farm that is just south of Milolii proved to be the best buy on the island. And, the coffee is superb. It was always nice to 'come home' to the Hula Hut. Your place is very roomy. The solitude and the quiet were good for the soul. The sound of the waves and the sea breezes were both very soothing. We most definitely enjoyed our 3 weeks at the Hula Hut, February. Minnesota.

We really enjoyed our stay. The ower is very friendly and helpful, her description of the location and her home was all decorated to a Hawaiian theam it was fun. We would recommend this property to a friend it was very clean, we look forward to returning.

My husband and I just returned from the Big Island and our stay in Milolii at the Hula Hut. It was one of the most relaxing vacations that we have had. Many evenings we sat on the lanai with cocktails and watched the whales and the beautiful sunsets. The home is new and very clean. The owner was also very helpful with suggestions on places to go and things to do. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to get away from it all......

I'd just opened up our emails with the intention of sending you one to thank you for the use of your lovely house.

We had a wonderful time and yes we did see whales from the deck, we saw them from our first day there. The house was absolutely perfect, so much so that we hardly moved from it during our first week as everything we needed was right there - peace, snorkelling, lovely view and so very comfortable. Your instructions and directions were perfect, We fell in love with Tiki Hut as soon as we walked in, and waking up the next morning was amazing as we didn't even have to raise our heads from the pillows to admire the sea view. Your photos don't do the house justice, it's wonderful, and so beautifully clean and tidy.

We had a lovely holiday, going to the volcano, whale watching, exploring, just being on the island is something very special. And thank you for helping to make it so good.

Beautiful! Very cozy, clean, and quiet neighborhood home with an unbelievable view. We sat on the the lani and enjoyed watching the whales. Everything was there that we needed for a perfect week of relaxation and fun. Thank you Melanie.
