We had a fabulous mini family reunion due in large part to this great condo. The younger folks loved the zoo and Oz Park .... the older people loved all the great dining options in easy walking distance. Having a washer/dryer in the unit made it possible to pack light. Also we appreciated a PAC N PLAY being available as well as a crib.
I would recommend it in a heart beat for a family group or gal pals on a getaway. We shopped for groceries and take out locally and found everything we needed. Our last night we dined at the local Indian Grill. It was great!
This place was in a good location, clean and well kept. I also enjoyed how easy the scheduling was.
This was perfect for a medium to large group of people, or even a small group. Accommodations were great, location was great. Beds were comfortable and they provided comfortable linens. It was an easy stay here, having codes on the doors instead of keys made the stay so convenient and easy for a group. The only thing I would change is the couch isnt very comfortable for watching tv (I dont think its very deep), and there wasnt a lot of comfortable seating for 4 or more to watch movies (only chairs). We had a rainy day and watched movies all day. We ended up pulling the couch bed out and cramming 4 of us on there and bringing an air mattress on the floor for the other 2. But cozy movie watching seating is kind of my thing, so that would be my only qualm. There is also really beautiful walking paths just a block away to the lincoln park zoo and just a 15 min walk to North Ave beach through gorgeous park area. Lots of good food places very close with gluten free options. I was very pleased with this place and the rental company was very helpful. I recommend it!
we absolutely loved staying here. The location was easy to get to and just down the street from Lincoln Park. Close to anything you need, and a walking distance (albeit a bit of a trek) to Wrigley. Anyone traveling in a group (whether friends or a big family) would love staying here.
We had 7 adults and a 1 yr old in our party and we had a fantastic time staying at this apartment. The location was excellent for what we had planned. We were within walking distance to the zoo, the beach, Oz Park, many restaurants, Walgreens, 7 eleven, and a small grocery store. The rental was clean and looked exactly like what was pictured. We requested a pack n play and an extra fan for better air circulation in one of the bedrooms because even though it was air conditioned it was over 90 degrees every day we were there. We were given parking stickers for the days we were there so we could park in the residential section. The only problem we had was finding parking spots. But I think the farthest away we had to park was about 3 blocks. Not bad for the city. We totally enjoyed our time in Lincoln Park and will definitely come back.
After college graduation, many friends moved around the country. Once a year, we make it a point to meet somewhere in the middle - and this year we chose Chicago. There were 8 of us going this year - ages 26-29. We stayed at this 4 bedroom condo in Lincoln Park from Thursday - Sunday, and all had a great time. The condo was spacious, and we all slept comfortably, with plenty of room to spare. The living room and kitchen area are open and have a lot of space. The weather was a bit rainy while we were in the city, so we spent a little more time in the condo than originally planned, which was fine with all the space. We took advantage of the quick walk to the Lincoln Park Zoo, and some local restaurants/bars. It was also very easy to get into the downtown area, either by public transportation or a couple cabs. I would definitely stay here again - easy access to downtown Chicago, spacious and comfortable, and all for an affordable price.
At Home Inn Chicago was also very easy to work with - sending over all necessary and important information when the reservation was booked, and calling the week before to make sure I knew how to get into the condo upon arrival.
