Enjoy views of the majestic Grand Teton from the comfort of Teton Peak Abode, located on the Idaho/Wyoming border in Teton Valley, Idaho. Near Ski Hill Road -- and just eight miles from Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort, this two year-old home features mountain decor with pine and log trim. Vaulted ceilings and abundant windows afford easy viewing of the wildlife that frequent the area. Besides the winter favorites of snowmobiling and skiing, Teton Peak Abode offers guests access to a wide variety of activities. Fishing, golfing, hiking, and scenic float trips are all within a few minutes' drive. And a scenic 45-mile drive allows our guests to discover Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and the National Elk Refuge.

Ski: Grand Targhee has some of the best snow around and 500 inches of it most years. Teton Valley was once second best to the more famous Jackson Hole, located east over Teton Pass, but no longer. With the amenities of the Grand Targhee Resort, back country touring opportunities, snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing tracks, as well as fine restaurants and accommodations, Idaho's best kept secret is out of the bag.

We had a terrific week here enjoying tons of fresh powder at Targhee and Jackson. The Abode is nicely decorated, totally comfortable, and we really liked the free-standing stove at the end of a long day on the hill. We want to come back in the summer, too. Thank you, Hunts, for your hospitality! This is the best place around!

We spent a weekend at Teton Peak Abode in July, 2005 and found it to be a very enjoyable experience. The house is attractive and wonderfully decorated. I would happily recommend the property to anyone.
