If you need anything at all be sure to see my closest and dearest friend Jorge “Guapo” Hernandez. He is the server on the beach and pool area. He is one of the most honest, friendliest and hard working people I know and he will gladly assist you with anything you want or need. If you would like a private BBQ by the pool he will arrange that for you. If you want Grilled Mayan style fish or any other type of food for a little fiesta in paradise he will get it for you and anything else that you might need, like directions to great places downtown for picking up food for the condo, shopping or restaurants, for example ' La Parrilla' voted best restaurant in Cancun and If you are a little unsure about traveling downtown, don't worry! After he is finished work I'm sure he would gladly show you the way. I assure you that you will not be disappointed..
Downtown Cancun and out of the norm.:
If you are looking for something different while in Cancun then you can head Downtown. It is safe and you won't find as many tourists there. There are many places to shop for things and also food at a much cheaper price. They also have American stores like Walmart, Home Depot , Office Depot , and a lot of others as well. There is the Las Americas Mall and a great place for food shopping called Sorriana.
Ave. Excelon is also a great place to visit authentic Mexico. This area has restaurants, and many bars and discos and has a great nightlife. There are not many tourists in this area, it is something for the out of the norm traveler. At Market 28, besides the best fish in Cancun, you will find many restaurants and lots of shopping as well.
I myself travel a lot and enjoy the different cultures and way of life outside of the tourist zones.so if you are looking for a little something different don't be afraid to ask.you might be surprised! I also run other tours to other places..
Excursions, cleaning, and things to think about! :
If you would like to take excursions then ask one of the 2 Sergio’s at the reception desk. They would be glad to arrange it for you with transportation. Places like Xcaret! or others you might be interested in.
Need an extra room cleaning, just ask for Lucy, she will be glad to assist you with that.
Make sure you do some research when deciding on a place to stay. Many people will tell you that their condo or hotel is in a great location when actually it is not. Cancun is a very big place and it might actually take a 30 to 40 minute bus ride with traffic to get to the ” Heart of Cancun.” If you have any questions feel free to ask.
