Description of the Moneta vacation house rental
Our four-bedroom/two-bath house is located on a gently sloping acre lot, with water on three sides. The wide green lawn has lots of shade trees, and room to play or relax. There is a picnic table within a few feet of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake.
This newly decorated home is spacious and sunny. There are four bedrooms plus a Florida room with a futon that makes a double bed. The large family room has a full-size sleeper sofa and loveseat. There are two baths, a large porch for relaxing and dining, and a ping-pong table in the game room.
Our house has central air-conditioning and several ceiling fans. Amenities include color TV, DVD, VCR, an AM/FM/cassette stereo player, a washer, dryer and dishwasher.
Smith Mountain Lake is known for fishing; and we have 175 feet of shoreline to test your skill. The covered boat dock is available for fishing, mooring your boat, or watching the sunset. A gas grill and picnic table are provided for your outdoor dining pleasure.

Our home is centrally located between Roanoke, Lynchburg, Bedford and Rocky Mount. We are 7 miles by land and less than a mile by water from Bridgewater and Westlake, the hub of Smith Mountain Lake. Here you will find restaurants, marinas, specialty shops and various attractions. Enjoy a refreshing beverage or full course meal while watching the lake activities. Browse the local shops for artwork, sporting goods or gourmet foods and wine.
