Great Location: Enjoy the local pub for a drink and a meal -- or any one of the many restaurants around the town. Or perhaps you might enjoy a home-cooked meal of fresh fish from one of our local fishermen. Your options are only limited by your imagination. After a day of sun and salty air, you may just want to curl up in front of the fire -- or watch the activity on the water from the balcony with a glass of wine. If you don't want to bother making your own breakfast, the cafe below offers superb coffee and pastries -- which you can sneak back up to your private domain to enjoy. Being in the center of this quiet and colorful town is pure pleasure. It's wonderful just to stroll the streets -- ducking into the many shops and museums. There are many activities, festivals, and attractions in the surrounding area. There are abundant hiking trails, as well as walks along the rugged coastline. There are tennis courts, beaches, several golf courses.
Additional activities include sea kayaking through the old rum runners secret passages, day sailing on wooden boats (including the 'Bluenose II' in Lunenburg if she's in port), harbor tours, deep-sea fishing, enjoying live music, and much more.
