Apartment, 1 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2)

Very nice, spacious, en-suite double room with two single beds. It is in a very relaxing Victorian House, with two beds and two baths. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a very nice living room. Very bright, clean and airy.

The second room ( single) and the second bathroom will be kept for the owner who is a female economist, works abroad most of the time. Therefore Living room and the kitchen will be, from time to time, shared with the owner. While she is not in London, she closes the single room and the second bath and leaves the rest of the flat (1 double room with 2 single bed+en-suite shower/WC + living room + kitchen) to the guest.

The rate is from £390 per week for Min 2 weeks for one person or £595.00 per week/ £85 per night for two.

for those who wish to have the full use of it, this flat is also available on self use base for £135 per day. Suitable for max 2. Not available for less then 7 days.

Included in the price there is a cleaner who comes once a week, high speed unlimited Wi-Fi, tax, central heating, hot water, BT Incoming and emergency local calls.

The flat is situated in a very quite and peaceful side road of High Street Kensington, just behind Hilton Olympia Hotel. Kensington is one of the best established areas of London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Very good transport, one minute to metro and buses. Close to all London attractions that include Kensington Palace, world famous Holland Park and Westfield shopping centre, Nothing Hill, Portobello, Kensington palace, Royal Albert Hall, all are in walking distance.

It is obvious that this is a safe, warm, clean and quite home away home.

Reservation/ security deposit and ID emailed from work email is required. Available for max 2 non smoker responsible adults.

About The Owner

This is a flat for me to live in it. I did not intent to let it out. But, Since i started to work abroad, I thought it would be pity to keep such a nice flat empty.Therefore I leet my flat from time to time.

Why The Owner chose Holland Park

Very Centre, very safe, Clean, Comfortable and positive, Compare to other similar properties in the area, this is very cheap. Also very relaxing people say.

Kensington is one of the best part of London.

I am a Member of UK National Landlords Association (M. ship Number:071953).

What makes this apartment unique

I just love living here. Especially in Spring I enjoy the sherry blossoms in the road. I love being very close to all sort of transportation. Walking distance to all main London attractions and from high street shopping areas. I love being very close to Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate, Portobella, The royal Albert Hall etc all in walking distance. Every body who stayed here loved being in the flat and in the area. The last person, a German solicitor, came to live here for 2 month and stayed 11 month until she went back to Germany

Car: not necessary

The nearest Tube ( Metro) Olimpia is less then one minute walk away . If you walk to left from our house you reach to High Street Kensington within 2 minutes. You will see Hilton Olimpia on the left and Olimpia exhibition centre on the right. Hilton side of High Street Kensington takes you to Kensington, the other side to Hammer Smith area. There a stores and supermarket at both side and are 3 minutes walk. Also There are lots of buses to every directions. The biggest Shopping Centre Westfield, located in White City/Shepherds Bush, is also 5 to 7 minutes walk away from us.

Felt right at home

It was a pleasure to stay at the nice, comfortable, and convenient flat. Located in a quiet neighborhood and also very close to the tube/bus. Communication with the owner was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this flat to anyone. Thanks!!

Wonderful Flat!

My sister and I spent an amazing 8 days early December 2012. The apartment was perfect – bright, sunny and very comfortable. All the amenities of home! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed to prepare meals. Very quiet, residential area – we felt very safe no matter how late we came home.

Great location –the flat was within easy walking distance to Kensington High Street & Shepherd’s Bush tube stations and bus stops. There were lots of shops and restaurants within the area. Close to major attractions – was able to walk to Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park.

The apartment is on the top floor of a house and you must climb 3 flights of stairs – may be an issue if you have mobility problems.

Maria was fantastic – just an email away if you had any questions. She was in town for 3 days and we were very comfortable sharing the flat – she is very warm and inviting and we felt as if we were visiting an old friend.

The highest compliment I can give is that I felt as if I was staying in my own home. I will definitely come back!

A lovely apartment in a great location

I had a great week here! It was so great to have the comforts of home, a kitchen, and laundry machine on my long vacation. The location was the best part though. The apartment is an easy 10 min walk to the Shepard's Bush station on the Central Line, which is a great line to go a lot of places. It is also a ~10 min walk to the Kensington High Street station if you're going to catch a train across the river. On the map you will see that it is basically across the street from the Kensington Olympia station. While that is true, the Overground line doesn't go anywhere useful so you have to switch trains at Shepard's Bush anyway and it's a slow train.

The apartment was very clean and the bedroom had two single beds. The bathroom was brand new. The apartment is on the top floor, which is the 3rd floor, and the doorbell is not marked. There are several grocery stores in a 10 min walk area. Maria was a very nice person to rent from, and was only in town for 2 days. I especially felt comfortable renting as a woman traveling alone.

This rental is an incredible value for the price!

I loved my 5 week stay in this wonderful, residential apartment that is close to everything as well as transit. It is also near Holland Park which is a wonderful amenity in the neighborhood. The apartment is warm, friendly, very well maintained and has everything anyone could need. I will be happy to stay there again and the owner is delightful.

Great Flat

I stayed here for 2 months- Apr/May 2010. It was definately bright, sunny, clean. The bathroom was very modern. Fully equipped kitchen, I cooked most of the time. Grocery stores w/in a few walking blocks and local neighborhood store around the corner for any forgotten items. Very convenient tube station directly across the street from the flat on the District Line- easy access directly to all the sights: Westminster, Big Ben, Thames River, London Eye, St Pauls, Tower Bridge etc. Easy walking distance to Kensington Palace/Park, Hyde Park. Owner was very helful providing access to her wireless so could use my laptop. Taxi from Heathrow was expensive- 45-55 pounds. Using the tube much cheaper, had no trouble taking tube back to Heathrow. Very comfortable sharing flat with owner when she is stayng there. Property well maintained/cleaned weekly. Lots of restaurants and shopping w/in 5-10 minute walk. Might be difficult for people with mobility issues as must climb 3 flights of stairs. Building is quiet, rarely heard/never saw neighbors. Had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.
