This beautiful, spacious, 3-bedroom/2.5-bath condominium was built new in 2004. This townhome-style home features approximately 1,900 square feet of living space. The spacious kitchen offers an over-the-stove microwave, a refrigerator with an ice/water dispenser, a coffee maker, and all utensils, glasses, and cookware! It is even has an island! The utility room features a full-size, stacked washer and dryer. The living/dining room is really nice with its open space. The dining room has seating for six; while the living room has a sleep sofa and loveseat. Also included is a new 34-inch Sony high-definition TV with satellite, a VCR, and a DVD. The huge master bedroom has two queen-size beds, a satellite TV, and a large walk-in closet. And it has its own patio! The master bath has a whirlpool tub -- perfect for those romantic evenings! And it has a shower and double vanity sink. The two bedrooms upstairs are very spacious along with a full bath, balcony and deck.

The Townhome is near the Southern tip of the Eastern Shore of Virginia at Kiptopeke State Park. It is located 3 miles North of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and 7 miles South of the town of Cape Charles using Rt. 13. Turn West onto Kiptopeke Drive and go almost to the State Park Guard House. The Townhome Development will be on the right. This Townhome will be one of the first ones you see and address is 4003 Justin Lane. The State Park will be right in your back yard and just a nice walk to the beach.

The larger upstairs bedroom has two twin beds; while the other bedroom has one full bed that overlooks the deck and a large farming field. There is a hall leading to the deck -- that has great views. Also upstairs there is also a large bath off the hall leading to the balcony. The first level patio can also be accessed from a downstairs hall -- and through a side door to the sidewalk, which leads to patio. The patio offers a gas grill for that fish fry night! And there's a one-car garage! Linens are provided! Activities abound -- without even having to get into your car! There are miles of hiking and biking trails (and two adult bikes are furnished). Additional nearby activities include fishing and boating. Enjoy beautiful sandy beaches and swimming (Memorial Day to Labor Day)! And enjoy beautiful sunset walks on miles of sandy beaches! If you like fishing and boating, then you'll love it here. The park has a nice double boat ramp that leads to the Chesapeake Bay.

And you'll be only three miles from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. There is great flounder fishing here. And if you would like to try your luck on the ocean side, the Oyster public boat ramp is just a few miles away. Cape Charles town is about seven miles north, and is a nice place to visit with its old shops and beaches. There are lots of things to do here on 'The Eastern Shore of Virginia' -- for the entire family.

My stay was from 7/18/09 to 7/25/09. This vacation home was perfect. Clean, plenty of roo. Near beach and fishing. I look forward to returning next year.

Ideally located to explore Eastern Shore

A very quiet location even though it is right next to Kiptopeke State Park with it's public boat ramp, fishing pier and swimming and walking beach. A National Wildlife Refuge is just 10 minutes away by car, which has a free ramp for kajaks. 10 minutes North is Stingray: good local food for half the price you pay in other areas of the US. Seafood is expensive as usual, unless you buy it fresh from the source. We paid $5 for 25 clams (and 2 oysters to try for free) at RW Seafood straight out of the holding tank on the Chesapeake Bay.
Parallel roads on either side of US 13 have hardly any traffic. Very enjoyable for leasurely exploration by car or for a bike ride along expansive farm land and quaint hamlets.
If you need the amenities of a city, they are just 45 minutes away over the bridge either in Virginia Beach or Norfolk.
Danny and Mary Ruth made every effort to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The place is very clean and well maintained. A higher standard than you may encounter otherwise in this area. Highly recommended.

Great accommodations, great location, great time. We went to the state park every day. The trails are great for running and there is a very nice playground for kids. My sister and I shared the condo with our three children, and the layout was great. The master suite on the first floor gave both families their own space. We plan to visit the Eastern Shore again and will be sure to stay here!

We were extremely pleased with everything this condo had to offer. It truly felt like we were at home. Not only was the condo absolutely gorgeous inside and out, but the Carwiles went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possibly need for our vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to beach and fishing pier which are within walking distance. We highly recommend this condo to anyone!!! I would like to say thanks again to Danny and Mary Ruth for making our vacation the best one we've ever had. We look forward to returning again in the future.
