Great house, awesome trip!

Five couples in our early 30's from New York City stayed here for New Years. The house is amazing. It was everything we expected based on the pictures and other reviews. The rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of space to lounge and relax in the house. And the hot tub is great! The house is only about a 15 minute drive from the mountain and town, which makes it very convenient for skiing and other activities. The owner is also great. Very nice and responsive. The process of renting the house was so simple and easy. We had a few questions while we were there and the owner was accessible every time and was able to answer our questions. I would highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon!

If your looking to have a great time up in the killington area and are looking at this now. I got two words for you "book it" this home has a great location and plenty of privacy. The killington resort is no more than a 10 minute drive and there are plenty of taxi's that will come out and get you. Plenty of space inside in case you feel like just relaxing after a day on the slopes or outside if you feel like grilling or enjoying the jacuzzi. I don't have much else to see except stop wasting your time looking at other places and book you trip now. I have a feeling I'll be enjoy another stay here in the future.

Perfect Ski House Getaway

My friends and I wanted a place where after a long day of skiing we could go back and relax in a comfortable, cozy, and clean house and this fit the bill just right! They thought of everything from hair dryers to Tupperware to an extra toothbrush!! Anything we thought there is no way they would have this they did! Literally they have thought of everything. The house was extremely clean, the beds were comfy and you felt right at home. The owner was extremely helpful in answering any of my questions and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! I would definitely recommend this to a group of friends looking to get a way for a week/weekend. Super close to the mountain and even if not everyone skis there is plenty to do at the house and the surrounding areas. It is a true VT house and we loved it!

We will hopefully be back again soon!

Chalet in the Woods

Beautiful place to stay and a close drive to all the mountain slopes! The house was clean and well-kept and everything was ready and perfect for our arrival. The fireplace really set the mood as well as keeping the house nice and toasty. The hot tub was enjoyable after a long day of skiing. We hired a chef to deliver dinner to us right to the house. The price was very reasonable and the food (particularly the carrot cake!) was simply amazing.

The only issue with the house is getting to it! There are many sharp turns up a steep incline and with the icy conditions, one of our two SUVs ended up sliding into a snowbank. I would advise parking just down the road from the house and walking up to it as that last slope is a steep one. Great place to relax and ahve a good time.

Lovely, secluded setting -- yet very convenient to Woodstock and Killington. The perfect vacation home -- spacious, upscale finishes, very comfortable beds. The openness of the common area is perfect for visiting with friends and family. Great light and views through the large windows & the stargazing from the hot tub at night is simply amazing. I can't wait to get back!!
