Just 15 minutes to Plymouth Harbor. . . historical area which include Plymouth Rock, Pilgrim Wax Museum and The Mayflower II, a replica of the original Mayflower ship. Take advantage of local fishing excursion boats, private charter boats, whale watching and other historical tours leaving Plymouth harbor daily. You can also take a day trip by boat from Plymouth harbor to the picturesque town of Provincetown and. . . enjoy local seafood at some of the best restaurants in New England. Supermarkets , pharmacies, churches and many restaurants are just minutes away.
Attention Golfers! There are at least 8 golf courses in the Town of Plymouth and many more in neighboring towns. Check with Plymouth Chamber of Commerce for more details . Other areas to explore and enjoy include the city of Boston with its own historical significance. . . the entire Cape Cod area which also offers ferries to the Islands of Nantucket & Martha’s Vineyard. . . and lets not forget the “tip of the cape” where you will find Provincetown. . . with its gourmet restaurants, eclectic shops, historical museums, fabulous people- watching, and gorgeous beaches. A must see is also the Newport RI area with its magnificent mansions and shopping. A great day trip!!
