The Historic Central Hotel was built in the late 1800s on the public square in Sevierville, TN. In 1923, the Hotel was destroyed by fire and was rebuilt in 1938. President Roosevelt often stayed at the hotel in the 1940s, and during his trip in 1941, he dedicated the Great Smoky Mountains as a National Park. Today it is America's most visited National Park.
During the 1960s, the hotel was converted to a bank to service the growing downtown business landscape. Today, the hotel brings back the charm of its original state with large resort-style accommodations and all the amenities you would expect from a New Hotel Collection property.
