About The Owner

We are a young family living in beautiful Vancouver BC. We built Seaview Lodge in 2008 to spend more time outdoors. We love having a lot of room so that we can relax with friends and family!

Our kids love the beaches, hiking trails, playgrounds and all of the games/ books/ movies/ toys we have at the Lodge!

The Owner purchased this house in 2008

An excellent get-away for three generations

When our three kids asked my husband what he would like for his 60th birthday, he replied, "nothing... just spending time with you kids is the best." So the kids put their heads together, and the 10 of us just got home from a weekend at Seaview Lodge. A perfect choice... we had a wonderful time.
Full facilities and accessories for each age group... from Foosball to Mister PotatoHead. From a quiet bedroom where one executive family member could focus on an upcoming important business presentation, to the joy of having our grandson burst into our bedroom shouting, "it's time to get up, Grammy and Grampers!"
Our sincere thanks to you at Seaview Lodge... we've had a wonderful weekend.

Simply Amazing

We had an amazing stay at this property and I wish I had a few more days to enjoy the visit as it really truly is a home away from home. The view was beautiful. Though there are homes around, one feels secluded and the privacy this home offers.

The home is spacious, well equipped, clean and very well maintained. I was amazed with all the kitchen supplies, linens, books, music, games, dvds that were available for us. The furnishings are perfect. The almost wrap around decks are great. Beautiful view from the large windows.

The owner is a pleasure to deal with and kept us very well informed.

I cannot wait until my next visit!

Amazingly Beautiful Weekend of justice

Let me preface this review with I hadn't had a vacation in over four years, and my expectations were set ludicrously high for the epicness of this coming weekend. Whenever you bring a group of age ranged friends (24-38), some who knew each other for years, some who had never met, nerves were a little high if the weekend would go well...

Short answer: Heaven.

Long answer: Everything about Seaview Lodge was majestic. The Cabin was... perfect. It had everything one could possibly want (sometimes two). I was blown away making a large scale detailed breakfast when every fancy kitchen utensil was available and ready for my use. Beautiful rooms, endless linen, great beds, fantastic lounging environments, entertainment abound, beautiful deck... not trying to be a fan boy, but this was a heavenly escape away - I can only imagine what it must be like in the summer months.

The communications and responsiveness of the owners were flawless, and I cannot recommend this get away haven highly enough. Far enough to feel like you are in your own personal slice of getaway, but close enough to grab anything that you happened to forget from beautiful Sechelt.

I seriously cannot praise this place enough and look forward to going back again in the New Year.

Our family weekend at Seaview Lodge

To celebrate our parents' 60th wedding anniversary, we rented Seaview Lodge for a weekend in early spring for the whole family. What a venue! The spacious living area, large windows with a fantastic view over Sechlet inlet, and wood-burning firepace made for a cozy weekend for all. The ample and well-equipped kitchen, plus second living room gave everyone elbow room, and with Porpoise Bay provincial park and other walking trails nearby there was plenty to do outdoors as well. We had sun on the first day and snow on the second day, and with changing views and comfortable arrangements, Seaview Lodge was perfect for our family weekend away.

Amazing getaway!

We had an amazing time in Sechelt and the Seaview Lodge was the perfect accommodation during our stay. After a hectic day of hiking the Skookumchuck Trials and experiencing the awe-inspiring might of the Shookum Water Rapids in full flow in was just great to get back to the Seaview Lodge and relax on the outside deck. We could still experience nature in all its wonderful grandeur from the deck. We made a point of cooking a Namibian beef potjie at the outside fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful comforts your lodge had to offer. It's a first-rate choice for accommodation, beautifully designed and built to Green Technology and principles, If the cold got a slight bit to much we cuddled-up at the in-house fireplace for some fun, games, and laughter. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
