General Location & Attractions: The condo is approximately two miles from Silver Sands Outlet Mall on Old 98, the best outlet mall in America. And it's within walking distance of great eateries including Pampano Joe's, Whale's Tail, and Theo's Pizza Pub. Stores at Silver Sands range from Nike and Gap to Coach and Polo, from Mikasa to Jones NY and the bargains are outstanding. Brand New is the Destin Commons with much more retail shopping including the phenomenal Bass Pro Shop with a replica catch of Jaws proudly displayed in front, hung by his tail. We're also just down the road from Henderson Beach State Park and an hour and a half drive from Pensacola and its airforce base, armament, and museum where the Blue Angels have performed. You can rent a boat at the harbor downtown and anchor on Crab Island where families on boats gather to play on the ocean trampoline or get a burger off of the burger boat. Not to be missed is the quaint new community in Baytowne Wharf.
Just down the street from Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Bay Towne Warf which is a preplanned community of condos, restaurants, shopping and more. Don't miss this place! Of course, you can always take a leisurely drive down beautiful 30-A and visit the smaller resort towns, Santa Rosa Beach, Watercolors, and Seaside. I can recommend the best burger for the best price in Destin.
