White Sands Village Environment:
The White Sands Village complex is well maintained and features expansive plantings, lawns, and free reservable tennis courts. Jamisons restaurant (with ocean front dining) is less than one block away.
Our guests receive exclusive information listing our favorite guidebook, personal favorite beaches, snorkeling, URL Lava Viewing websites and hiking spots. Included is a list of off-beat day adventures, all free with a rental car. There is far more to do here in 2 weeks than 1 can possibly do so pick your can't miss items and save some time to hang by the pool or on the lanai doing nothing.
Kona Environment:
Kona has arguably the best climate in the world. With our low rainfall and mostly rocky shoreline we don't have any stream runoff to muddy up the Ocean. If you want a cooler climate just go up the mountain a few miles.
Clouds generally meander down the mountain slopes in the afternoon and stop near the shoreline providing natural shade for the World Famous Kona Coffee. Macadamea Nut orchards are common to the south of Kona.
World Class Resorts with green fee prices to match are 25 to 35 miles North of Kona in the Kohala district - a great place to stroll about and enjoy the sunshine, even if you are not a golfer. Some of the best are Hilton Waikaloa, Mauna Lani and Mauna Kea. There is also golfing just 2 miles south of us in Keauhou.
