Two Hilltop Cottages overlook Penobscot Bay and Stonington Village, and are rented as one unit. South Cottage has a completely equipped kitchen, a dining area, a living room with a futon/bed, and a spiral staircase to a large bedroom with a queen-size bed. North Cottage is a few feet away, and has a bathroom, a sitting area suitable for children's play, a washer and dryer, and a bedroom on the second floor with two single beds. The cottages are surrounded by a large lawn and a flower garden with culinary herbs.

Working Victorian fishing village. Many islands off harbor, fish pier, kayaking, sailing etc. many preserved lands with trails to walk, beaches, world class music, Opera House movies and art programs, granite museum, granite quarries, good restaurants, lobster and fish, fisherman's wives festival, great used book sales, a variety of schooners anchor in harbor weekly and are seen going through the thoroughfare. Beautiful Nature abounds with animal and bird and plant-life..

What a charming slice of heaven!

Our family had the pleasure of renting these cottages last fall. They were clean, neat and fully equipped with everything you need and much more. The cottages are situated in a lovely town where the locals don't seem to mind sharing all the beauty Stonnington has to offer. The owners of the cottages are extremely friendly and are dedicated to making your vacation experience one of the most memorable!
