The cabin is surrounded by trees. It is located on a cul-de-sac and offers a very secluded ambiance. There's a dock, swimming ladder, side slip, dock lights, and power for nighttime fishing. There's also an awesome spot for daytime swimming, and there's even a small beach. Becker Cabin features fabulous views and sunrises any time of year. The covered screened porch is a good spot to enjoy coffee, while gazing at the lake and watching your family at play on the beach or the dock. The side porch and outdoor decks give everyone in the family additional options for rest and relaxation. The fenced-in back and side yards offer protection for the young children to play; and they ensure that your family dog will not wander off. This is the only fenced in yard on the lake for rental families. The doors of the living room and kitchen open onto the back and side porches; so all can come and go as they please -- inside and out -- without having to leave the fenced-in area.

We just ask that you clean up the fenced-in yard, so the next guests can enjoy it. The large log cabin living room offers a stone fireplace, and is a great place for relaxing with family while enjoying games. A fabulous reading library is also provided for guests' use. The large kitchen gives adequate space for your family dog, and provides access to all the decks for entertaining and outdoor barbecuing. Whether it's raining or sunny, Becker Cabin is both large enough and equipped enough to provide more activities inside and out than the entire family can enjoy in a week’s stay. The cabin offers theme bedrooms: Twin Beds compliment the fish room, with a Queen Bed in the Boat Rom. A large pillow-top King Bed is in the master bedroom overlooking the lake, with the Wildlife / Hunting Room. Past visitors have written that this was their favorite vacation home on Smith Mountain Lake -- offering the best amenities of all the places they've stayed.
