Bar Harbor Oceanfront: There's a great library and reading materials for guests' enjoyment. The wonderful decks overlooking the harbor and mountains is great for cookouts, and overall relaxing. The fenced in area surrounds the decks and allows the dogs or other family members to overlook the harbor as well. Tired of all the tourist stuff at Bar Harbor but want to get there quickly yet desire a real downeast Maine lobster town? Then this is the place for you! Look out each window to the lobstermen and the ocean, and enjoy the sunrises...as well as the sunsets... Drive to Bar Harbor if desired, or just walk to the restaurants here in this neighborhood or explore Southwest harbor only 5 minutes away. Just go and have fun!

Golf: Golf at Keno Golf Club ranked number in the top 5 in the USA- only a 15 minute drive in Bar Harbor.

the location was perfect: private but not far from the park or bar harbor. we couldnt have been happier with the house. we spent every evening cooking fresh seafood before relaxing on the deck to watch the harbor. a little big for just the two of us, but we will definitely return soon with relatives and/or friends. wont hesitate to rent this cottage again and are making plans for our return!
