Fine house for large groups in a splendid location
Review Submitted: July 7, 2008

For the past ten years or so, my highschool buddies and I, about a dozen people altogether, get together once a year to play cards and shoot the breeze.
We've been to the Sauerthaler Hof twice; the last time in 2007. Well-equipped and spatious, the Hof is located in the heart of the picturesque Rheinland, with all the tourist sites within reach.
The village Sauerthal itself, though off the rhine in a slightly remote location, is noteworthy because it is a vibrant community, full of life [not an extinct hamlet like so many Ardennes villages, where you often end up if you're looking for a large house].
The people managing the house are friendly and helpful. We will surely book here again sometime in the future---that is, if this recommendation does not spoil the market ;-)
