This warm and inviting 1450 sq foot, 2-story, lakefront condo (at MidLake Condominiums) is perfect for 1, 2 or 3 couples or 1-2 families (ideal for a maximum of 8 people). There are three bedrooms and three full bathrooms + jacuzzi tub:
- a master bedroom with a king bed and adjoining full bathroom,
- a second bedroom with a queen bed + bunk beds (with full bath),
- a third bonus room with queen bed and direct access to a full bath with jacuzzi tub
...and a large loft area (25' x 13') with two twin beds and 2 double futons. There is also a full sleeper sofa in the living room.
The view of Boulder Lake from the rear balcony of the condo is spectacular! The condo is 100 feet from the Lake. There is also a balcony accessible from the second bedroom at the front of the condo.
In the summer, you are provided with 8 passes to the community pool (about 100 yards away from the condo) and 8 passes to the Lake Mountain Club which has a sandy beach on Big Boulder Lake, a water trampoline (for kids and adventurous adults), tennis courts, kids playground, sailboats, canoes and kayaks. There is plenty of parking at the condo and at the Lake Mountain Club. There is also a restaurant (Boulder View Tavern) adjacent to the Lake Mountain Club where you can grab food and drinks.
In the winter, you are less than 1/2 mile from Big Boulder Ski Area (JFBB), which is ranked as one of the top snowboard mountains on the east coast. You can be there in 2 mins from the condo. Split Rock Lodge's newly-opened indoor water park, H2OOOOOOOh, is a great activity for kids and is right around the corner. In the condo, you can enjoy board games, flat screen tv's, cozy up to the fireplace, or view the lake.
Spring and Fall are great with easy access to the local parks for hiking and biking. There are great Golf courses nearby such as Jack Frost National and Split Rock.
Amenities:
There are several flat-screen TVs in the condo, and all bedrooms have TVs. Firewood is available free-of-charge outside the condo. There is also free wireless internet access in this condo.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, silverware, toaster, crock pot, griddle etc. The carpet, TVs, refrigerator, oven, HVAC and hot water heater are brand new. Linen service (sheets and towels) is available through an outside maid service that we can put you in touch with - we generally do not supply sheets and towels.

Spring:
You’ll find bicycle trails, and many hiking trails around the lake. You are also near Split Rock Lodge and Lake Harmony for dining and exploring. The Premium Outlets are only 20 mins away, also. White water rafting and paintball facilities are nearby, too.
Summer:
Summer activities at Big Boulder include the community pool and hot tub. You will also enjoy use of the owners membership in the “Lake Mountain Club”. This includes another pool, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball, fishing on the lake and at Porter Run Preserve, plus swimming, boating/kayaking, and sunbathing at the beach at Big Boulder Lake. NASCAR racing comes to town twice for the Pocono 500 on June 7th and the Pennsylvania 500 on August 2nd!
Fall:
The leaves turn, and the views are wonderful! Hiking and biking are some of the best ways to see them. Great golf courses like Jack Frost National and Split Rock are also available and close. Enjoy Jim Thorpe's fall days events.
Winter:
Big Boulder (BB) Ski Resort (Skiing, Snowboarding, Tubing) is 2 mins away, and there is no parking fee. These lift tickets can be used at both BB and Jack Frost Ski Resort (which is 15 minutes away). Snowmobiling is within 15 mins as is the Hickory Run State Park which has outstanding trails and wildlife.
