This great Gulf Shores rental features a million-dollar view of the Gulf of Mexico. This two-bedroom, 2-bath Southern Sands vacation rental is only 1/4 mile from Highway 59, and is within walking distance of all the activities in Gulf Shores. This condo has a super low density with only 18 units. It's nicely decorated and has been recently updated, including a fully-equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances. There is a large living area with cable TV, a VCR, and a DVD player. Each floor has a free, heavy-duty washer and dryer. Relaxing is easy in the master bedroom with its Jacuzzi® tub and private balcony overlooking the Gulf and the swimming pool.

This was an amazing trip!! This condo has such a great view of the ocean, nothing obstructs your view. Inside is very large and comfortably housed 5 people for a week. This condo is within walking distance of everywhere. We walked to dinner and lunch everyday. Will definatly stay here again when we come back next year!!
Owner's Response: We love a great review. Southern Sands is in a great location convenient to restaurants, souvenier shops, etc. We personally think we have the best veiw on the beach, you can see down to the right or left for miles and see the waves rolling in on the beach while you relax on a very spacious balcony. We love return renters and would love to have you back again next year. Thanks!

This condo is wonderful and the views are everything that is advertised and more! It's homey and very comfortable. The balcony is the best place to sit and enjoy an early cup of coffee or a late nightcap. The ocean breeze is awesome. We had 4 adults and a baby (and all of the gear) and were quite comfortable. Shops and restaurants are very close and convenient. The owners are very easy to deal with and will do everything they can to accomodate your needs for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Will definitely rent from them again!

Everything about this rental was just fantastic. Just as the other reviews have stated. The owner was exceptional to deal with. Everything you needed was within walking distance. The view was spectacular. The condo was very clean & well maintained. Desoto's restaurant had the best seafood on the beach, & it was very reasonably priced. The locals were the friendliest of any place else that I've been. We're definitely looking forward to returning again next year.

We try to keep our unit in great shape and we have a very good, friendly, and professional cleaning service that I have been using for several years now. Glad you enjoyed the view from the condo balcony. It is one of the widest balconies in Gulf Shores and all of it faces the beach and water. You are right about Desotos Seafood, it is one of the best and it is within walking distance of the condo.

I have reserved your dates for next year. We hope to do some more upgrading of the condo again this year. You will love the new upgrades we have planned.

This is a great family condo and convenient to everything we wanted to do. The gulf front balcony was great with a beautiful view. It accommaded 6 people comfortably. We hope to stay here again next year.

Great Spot to Catch Some Waves and Sun

We stayed in this unit in mid-August 2008. I was blown away with the view from the living room and bedroom. There's a couple of restaurants, convenience stores, and souvenir shops within walking distance. There's a private beach on site and it's well maintained. If you leave the screen open at night, a nice breeze blew in and it made for a good night's sleep. At one point, we even spotted dolphins from the balcony! There's a great sunrise view just to the left when you exit onto the balcony. It's a nice spot to enjoy some priceless moments or just to get away from it all.

I would recommend this unit to couples, families or small-medium groups.
