This house is THE place to come to check out Havre De Grace and surrounding towns. It's within walking distance (and we mean walking, not dog tired hiking!) of all that Havre De Grace has to offer including the marina, parks, museums, the Vandiver Inn (best place to get married or have an event - we know - we did it:), restaurants and the bay are literally two blocks away.
The house is Victorian but with a country cozy feel. The beds are all new and very comfy. It's furnished to handle a large family with pets (we love 'em) and offers everything you could possibly need to eat, drink, and be merry:).
There is terrific shopping, ample antiquing opportunities (and we mean AMPLE), and all the places you'd ever want to stop, have a bite, and regroup!
It's becoming the new 'artist colony' of the area and offers many galleries and a fabulous art supply store to check out. Havre De Grace is 'small fishing village' meets 'vacation get-away'.
If you visit, you'll be back.
Please check the calendar before you inquire and if you don't hear back from an e-mail inquiry, please call the second number listed as we're probably traveling.

This house is gorgeous! It's comfortable and VERY clean. The bedrooms are much bigger than shown in the pictures. They had everything a person could want in the kitchen and books, movies, puzzles, etc. Very charming. We were so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The beds were made up with clean and pretty linens when we arrived and our towels were laid out for us as well. The porches are amazing to sit on and enjoy the beautiful street. The backyard is huge, fenced in, and has ample seating and a gas grill for get togethers outside. Wonderful! We'll be back for sure!
My family of four (plus two small dogs) stayed at this home for two months as we transitioned from one home to another. We were new to the area and found staying at this in-town home perfect as we frequently walked to town or to the bay. We loved being able to go for a cup of coffee, out for a meal, to the book or art store or to get haircuts: everything is within a couple blocks! The house is well stocked: I cook a lot and never missed a beat while staying here. We found the beds comfortable, the bathrooms more than sufficient and the rest of the house a pleasure to live in. Best of all was the owner! She is good natured lady who responded to all correspondence quickly. I recommend staying here whether for a short trip or long term!
Our stay at the house was very pleasant. Rooms were spacious and comfy. House was very well prepared for our stay nicely decorated. The house is even bigger than what I expected the pictures don't do justice. The back yard is perfect for a cookout on warmer weather. House is located on the same street as the stores and restaurants. Overall it was a wonderful home to stay in. Will definitely stay there on our next trip to Baltimore.
