We had a blast. We were celebrating our husbands birthdays and fishing. We arrived on Friday August 28 and it started raining. It rained until we left on Monday morning August 31, 2009. Oh Well. The occomodations were wonderful, well taken care of and in a beautiful location. We made the most of our rainy weekend. Enjoyed the sites and sounds of Alexandria Bay. We still managed to go out and fish in the rain though. Took the tour boat around the islands it was well worth it. Beautiful area. We will be back
Thank to you Anna.
This is a nice and neat place. Very convenient location. Our family had a very good time. Thanks!
the house was very nice right in the heart of Alex bay. We have a small fishing boat and did alot of sight seeing on the water. I would recommend going to the 1000 Islands bait shop for bait and friendly tips. Very nice people there with alot of information. Would also recommend that if you are a boater you need a depth finder or GPS as the depths vary drastically from 100 ft to 2 ft in some places.
We plan to go again with the kids next year.
My friends and I had a wonderful time spending the weekend in Alex Bay. We were so happy to have our own space, including a great kitchen and bathroom with double sink and mirror. I am hooked on using HomeAway and can't see myself staying in a hotel in the near future. Anne, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating. Although we never met, I felt like I knew her after phone conversations. The townhouse was clean, comfortable and cozy! I would recommend it to anyone!
This place is great! It is clean, well decorated with comfortable furniture! There is a screened-in deck overlooking the water that is great for hanging out at night. The location couldn't be better, only seconds from Alexandria Bay by car or by boat. It's right across the street from a major drug store, which came in handy many times. The boat dockage was amazing. Its in such a protective cove, that I never had to worry about my brand new boat hitting the dock or getting damaged due to wind or waves caused by traffic. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a stove, oven, microwave and everything you'll need to have great meals. We really enjoyed our stay.
We rented the otter street house over Memorial day weekend 2009. It worked very well for all of us. We could make meals, the kids could fish right out our door. We would recommend this house to anyone staying in Alex Bay. Betsy Alexander New York
