This spacious two-bedroom/one and a half-bath, corner unit with lanai is at Kuhio Plaza, 2442 Kuhio Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815. This privately-owned unit is in a secured building with the building manager on site. The cross street is Uluniu Avenue. This sixth-floor condo offers all the amenities of home including bed linens and towels (including beach towels). There's a coin-operated washer and dryer on same floor. The unit comes complete with a TV, VCR, DVD, stereo, answering machine, and a phone for local service and Internet hook up. Any long-distance calls must be made with a calling card. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, a stove/oven, microwave, new toaster, new coffeemaker, rice maker, new blender and a new George Foreman grill. The unit is air-conditioned, and has ceiling fans or wall fans in each room. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet with an ironing board and iron.

Free parking for mid-size car included --: A real bargain in Waikiki! We welcome you to our beautiful home. Note: There is a one week minimum stay. Check-in is at 3:00 PM; and check-out is at 12 noon. A reservation deposit of $100.00 US is required within ten days of confirmation. This deposit is applied at the time of full payment -- four weeks prior to occupancy. A letter of confirmation with all details will be mailed upon receipt. Deposits are refundable after unit is checked and keys are returned as directed. Note non-smoking policy. We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a responsible adult, guardian or parent. Guests agree to hold owner harmless from all liability, loss or damage resulting from carelessness, neglect or improper conduct of guests and their visitors. A refund, after full payment is received, will only be available if the unit is fully re-rented for the time period.

Storm Policy: Storm policy: Refunds will not be given unless the National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuation of the area. If such an evacuation is ordered, we will refund: A. Any unused portion of the rent for a guest currently staying at the unit. B. Any unused portion of rent from a guest who is scheduled to arrive and wants to shorten their stay to come in after the storm/hurricane warning is lifted. C. Any advance rent collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the warning period.

No Smoking In Unit Or On Lanai.: Any exceptions to the above policies must be agreed to by both parties in writing and in advance. Guests agree that violation of the terms of this agreement will result in termination of occupancy and that they will remedy any damages or expenses they cause. This property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. The property will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to guests, or for loss of personal property or valuables of any kind. There is no smoking in the unit or on the lanai. A forfeiture of all deposits should you or any of your guests smoke in this unit or on the lanai.

Great place at a fabulous price

We had a great stay in Waikiki at this condo. The perks are it within walking distance to everthing in Waikiki (the beach 2 blocks away, international market place, shopping and the best restarants. The view of diamond head to the east and the beach south from the lanai are great. The condo is well furnished and equipped. There is even beach stuff for use. The two bathrooms were great.
The available parking spot was a bonus because it is so hard to find a place to park in waikiki and they all charge about 18.00/day. The only downfall if you want to call it that is the noise form Kuhio ave, but ususally you are so tired and with some earplugs you barely notice it. Why stay in a hotel when for the same price you can have 2 bedrooms and 2 bath rooms with a kitchen all for the same price. I would recommend this condo to anyone and will come back some day and bring the kids this time.
Owner's Response: The unit has 1 full bath and 1/2 bath. There is a sink and toilet. Did not what someone to think there was more.

Best Condo in Waikiki

I've stayed at this condo for the past 2 years. It is very cozy and you really feel at home. I first rented it in 07 and loved it so much I came back in 08. The building can be deceiving, but the condo is really nice. It's 2 blocks from the beach, and in close proximity and walking distance to everything. The condo is equipped with everything you could possibly need. It does not have central air, but it does have 2 window units and ceiling fans in all the main rooms that keeps the condo comfortable. You can only enter the bldg with a key which makes the area feel secure. The windows are the old fashion type and noise from the outside is more audible, but a pair of ear plugs blocks the noise and does the job just fine. It also provides parking which is really great since it's a bit hard to find parking in Waikiki. Since the condo in right in the middle of Waikiki, you really don't need a car for your whole stay, except to get to the grocery store and or other parts of the island. A few days should be sufficient, or you can do the circle island tour. I would stay there for a whole month if I could, but I don't have enough vacation time. I have really enjoyed this condo so much, I'm thinking of going back in 2009. Also, don't buy your groceries at the Food Pantry down the street. The food there is very expensive. There is a Safeway about a mile or two from the condo.
