NEW Oceanfront Studio -- Hotel Zone

We just came back from our lovely vacation in Cancun today. We are so happy that we made the choice of coming to Home Away and found this wonderful deal.

This was our first time in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. We thought about booking a room in a 5 star all inclusive resort, but after analyzing that we really wanted to explore the areas like the locals, without depending on a resort and spending the whole day in a luxury jail at the beach, we went for this option.

The place is actually bigger in real life than how the picture shows it. Kai was extremely helpful, gave us tips before arriving and was LEGIT! We loved the fact that we could cook in the unit, because we had so many activities during the day that by the time we were back a lot of good local places were closed or we didn't have the energy to fish for places to eat, so we would make our own tacos or tortas de carne asada (steak tacos or mexican traditional sandwiches) in the condo and eat Pan Dulce (mexican pastries) in the mornings.

The view it's phenomenal, we didn't need the AC, we had the balcony doors open when we were there, the ocean breeze would ventilate and keep the place cool and the sound of the ocean waves made a perfect beach atmosphere every single minute of our stay.

The room service was top notch. Clean sheets, towels, and clean dishes! Nothing was stolen, we left our belongings and none of that was ever touched or moved. We felt very safe leaving our things there every time we would leave the unit.

The beach was about a 1 minute walk or less depending how fast or slow you walk. There is always a lifeguard during the day, that's a plus. Also, the unit it's close to every thing; restaurants, shopping malls for all pocket sizes, flea markets, gas stations/convenient store and quite close to Cancun's downtown (el Centro) where Walmart is located as well - which we definitely recommend folks renting the unit to go and get their goods for cooking.

The only thing we regret is not having spent more time in Cancun, we would've loved staying here for longer - that's for sure.

We're very glad that Luis (at the office) helped us getting to places we wanted to visit, he even gave us directions and maps and warned us about the speed limits and police watching the area for those driving a car.

Kai's team it's exceptional, we're definitely coming back again! You won't be disappointed, book it now before someone else does!!!

What a wonderful condo this is!! We made a lot of friends in Cancun and each and everyone of them thought greatly of this beautiful condo. Everything and I mean absolutely anything you need is there, from the kitchen to the hair dryer... Don't even bother renting a car if you are not staying more than a week. There is a bus that passes by in front of the resort and it takes you to the main places in the city. Carolyn and Alejandro are always there to help you!! They even let us borrow two racquets to play tennis in the resort's courts. The only warning I give you is to be really careful with the pool because it wasn't very clean :S - You are better off going to the beach, if you go early 10 am - 11 am you will be able to find a little hut and beach chairs. The view from the apt is very nice, we enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets, absolutely breathtaking. Like I said excellent condo - you don't have to think twice about renting this.. and the price? May I say budget? You won't regret, I promise. Me and my partner went there for two weeks and we were sad to go... We will be coming back Andy and Kai!! Thank you so much ~

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful luxury studio condo from Feb 22 until Mar 1st. . Beautifully renovated and there wasn't one thing that had been missed. The kitchen was totally supplied with everything you could possibly need. The bed that you never wanted to get out of. A balcony with a gorgeous view - we shared many glasses of wine there in the evening. This is a real gem and we will certainly stay there again.
