'We loved staying at The Fischer House, we had the whole house for a Wine Get-a-way. Each morning we prepared breakfast and we ate outside. Saturday Lori, the owner, took us out to the wineries, she knows them all, we got to barrel sample 'futures' at 2 places with the winemakers. 'A quick 4 hour drive from Boise to such a wonderful town & guest house. We walked downtown & around Whitman College to get the feel of the area & then a wine tour in the Cabernet Cab with Lori. We were here for the beautiful fall foliage, which added ambiance to our walks. The linens were fresh & crisp, which I loved. Great hospitality and we plan to return in the future. WE just did the wine tour with Lori, her houses were full. Unbelievable wine tour, Lori knows everyone, winery owners, winemakers, and she can get you into some very 'off the beaten track' private wineries. Just ask and be ready for a wonderful experience. Linda/ August 2012
My fiancee and I stayed at The Fischer House, it is outstanding. Lori is the most gracious host I have ever met and she is FUN ! On our Wine Tour she packed in as many wineries as possible. She is very well known in the wineries and knows all the winemakers. We sat back and just enjoyed every minute. At the house, we made our own breakfast each morning. WE requested and she left us some breakfast foods for a 'self serve' breakfast. As you view the establishment, you realize that she's invested A LOT into ensuring each guest is comfortable. The bedrooms are wonderfully decorated. She has the little things like night lights and robes. It is very pleasant. My fiancee and I will return to The Fischer House on our next trip to Walla Walla. 'We arrived at the Fischer House weary after the long drive and we were welcomed by our gracious hosts, starting our weekend in wine country. We stayed in The Master Suite with all the comforts needed to make our stay very enjoyable. Every detail has been paid attention too by our generous host. They were eager to offer up suggestions for activities and were very knowledgeable to the happenings in Walla Walla and the surrounding communities. The Winery Tour was 'over the top' going to some really outstanding wineries. Lori & Dennis are truly in their element of hospitality. Thank you for a fabulous time.'

'Had a wonderful weekend in Walla Walla at the most delightful Fischer Guest House. After two nights, I am totally comfortable in the Vintage Room with familiar objects from my past all around me. The Volkswagon bus on the shelf, was like one I once drove, the vintage hats I played 'dress-up ' with out of my grandma's bureau, Lori is great at putting together theme rooms. We did a wine tour with Lori and I bought a lovely Strawberry wine that truly tasted and smelled like fresh plucked strawberries, ask Lori the proprietor where to find that wine. We can't say enough about Walla Walla, The Fischer House was booked but Lori got us to meet another B & B owner and we stayed there. We did book a wine tour with Lori, four crazy girlfriends and Lori fit right in with our group. She took us to two private wineries, we even met Tim Kennedy from Don Carlo Wines & Tim's Cascade Potato Chips. Loved it. Thank You Walla Walla, thank you Lori.
A fantastic weekend at The Fischer House, we booked it last year and again this year. We had the whole house and it was fabulous. Lori says in order to tour all 160 wineries in Walla Walla we will need to keep coming back. This year she took us to 5 wineries for private tastings. It was so special & the weather perfect. WE made breakfast each morning, ate on the patio, then a walk downtown. We are booked for next October. The October Gang, Campbell's, Moore's & Hopkin's
Thank you Lori and Dennis for a great weekend in Walla Walla. Great house and a great tour. We loved meeting Tom the winemaker at Balboa and Beresan. I think that was our favorite place, having lunch there and the great wine. wonderful.
