Stratton Mountain is the tallest mountain in southern Vermont, at 3875 Ft. The ski resort has almost 600 skiable acres, with 90% snow making. There are 90 downhill trails, 4 parks, 2 pipes, and 13 lifts, including a 12 passenger gondola and 4 high-speed six-packs. The pedestrian village has cafe's, restaurants, shops, and spa. There is a cross country center at the 27 hole golf course, half way up the Access Road, and a Sports Center at the base area with indoor swimming, tennis, aerobic classes, cardio and weight rooms.
Manchester, famous for its outlets, art galleries, and restaurants, is 20 minutes away. Riley Rink has indoor skating in winter and outdoor concerts in summer.
