At Flamingo Beach! the Most Spectacular Beach of Culebra

While I don't normally write reviews of places that I have stayed, I feel like I need to do so in this case. The property description for this apartment is misleading and, as a result, I felt like the price we paid was too high. My main complaint (and believe me, I am not a big complainer) is that the only source of natural light and fresh air in the apartment is the front door. All windows and shutters are completely painted shut and cannot be opened, so the bedrooms had no natural light or ventilation. Given that the temperature and humidity at the end of March was just about perfect, it was quite annoying to not be able to open windows and enjoy the sea breezes. It appeared that this was the only apartment in the building that is this way. All of the others appeared to have working windows with screens. The apartment is somewhat run-down, although this is a beach location and one does not necessarily expect the height of luxury. The furnishings provided are adequate at best. Bedding and linens are quite low-quality and worn.

The pictures provided of the property are pretty accurate. The beach where the property is located is absolutely gorgeous, and this property is right on the beach as advertised. This particular apartment is at the back of the big building that you see in the picture, so any view of the ocean is just from the side.

I would definitely stay at in this area again, and would stay in this location, but not in this particular apartment.
