Life's a Beach--You will love this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located on A1A, with nothing to block your ocean view. The upstairs features a large open great room and kitchen all with island decor. Master bedroom and 2nd BR each have their own baths. The third bedroom is on the lower level. Enjoy viewing the Atlantic from the large 2nd floor deck, with it's picnic table, hot tub and gas grill. This vacation home is a licensed legal rental, which the city of Flagler Beach regulates. My husband and I occupy the first floor one bedroom unit. We are in our fifties and own the local coffee house, The BeachHouse Beanery, here in Flagler Beach (www.BeachHouseBeanery.com). We are quiet and pleasant and obviously can supply you with some great coffee! We have created the rental unit with its own entrance and there are no shared spaces. We understand privacy concerns and are respectful of that. We love for our visitors enjoy their vacation. This is a no smoking and no pet home.

Flagler Beach is a charming beach town out of the past, with many restaurants, a pier, shops, surfing, world class golf, and fishing. Kids love it because it has just enough activity to keep them interested, but not enough to be threatening. Just ride a bike to get pizza or an ice cream cone, or to rent a video. If you prefer a little busier beach life, head up to the pier, at the town center, where you'll find more beach-goers and surfers. If you want even more action, Daytona Beach is 15 miles south, with beaches you can drive on, and great nightlife. A few miles further south brings you to Cape Canaveral National Seashore and NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Just 20 miles north of Flagler Beach is the historic city of St. Augustine. Visit the old fort, the shops and restaurants in the old historical town center, or the 200 stores of St. Augustine Outlet Mall. This is a perfectly located vacation spot.

Wonderful 1st Time Vacation

For our first-time vacation rental experience, we could not have picked a better town or property. Flagler Beach, FL was a beautiful place with a small-town atmosphere yet close to bigger "touristy" cities. Life's A Beach rental property was exactly as advertised. Other than needing food, it was all provided in a spacious home that was right across the road from the Atlantic Ocean. It was the best vacation we have ever had.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Fabulous stay in Life's a Beach

I really did a lot of searching to find this house. The location was amazing, right across the street from the ocean. My youngest nephew got up almost every morning and walked over to the beach as did my 78 yr old dad. From here it was easy to get to the freeway to go to orlando and Kennedy space center.
The owners really mean it when they say they respect your privacy you never noticed them except in the morning to say hi. They own a terrific little coffee house in Flagler beach.
I lived in Daytona Beach for 3 years and I loved it but now I want to move to Flagler. The small town feeling is refreshing.
The house is exactly as described and was plenty big enought for all of us. It was extremely clean and neat. They provide plenty of beach towels, blkes, beach equipment, grill picnic table and chairs.
There is a Publix not too far from the house just across the bridge and plenty of great resturants close by.
I whole heartadly recommend this property.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Wonderful house with Fantasic view

The house is wonderful with a fantastic view. The house had everything we needed for meals at home to beach towels which saved some room in the car. Plenty of space for 2 families. Several restaurants in walking distance but we enjoyed staying in to eat. Watch for the dolphin while your eating breakfast we seen them every morning. We cannot wait to come again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Incredible Vacation

Description was everything and more! Extremely clean and well maintained! Owners were wonderful..had a little flooding prior to our arrival and owners were extremely concerned about our use of the basement area that was being dried. I would definately recommend this property to a friend..in a heart beat! It was the most relaxing vacation we have had in a long time! The deck out front is wonderful...Although there is a beach at high tide it is minimal ..we did get washed out..lol but at low tide it's awesome and so is the fishing!!! But, you will need a FL fishing license and if you have a teenager 16 or older they will also need one...just remember to have their social security number or they will not issue one. The ice cream parlor and the English Pub down the street were our favorite places!!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers
Owner's Response: Yes, we had a LOT of rain right before they arrived! That's one of the advantages of living right in town, if there is a maintenance issue, we take care of it!

Wonderful Hideaway

You can't beat the view from Life's A Beach. The house is directly across the road from the ocean with nothing in the way of your view! The road is easy to cross and beach access is easy. The beach is gorgeous and quiet. We were often the only people there.

The house itself is wonderful. The bathrooms especially were so nice and clean! The kitchen was well stocked, and bedrooms were spacious and very comfy.

My husband and I and our four daughters (ages 8,9,10,12) had a wonderful time! We even got to see a shuttle launch from right in front of the house! The owners have supplied boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes, everything you could need for fun in the sun!

Be sure to visit the BeachHouse Beanery for a treat!
We loved our time in Flagler Beach. Thanks, Jeff and Carol!
