Located between St. Tropez and Toulon, and directly on the Mediterranean, this two-bedroom/two-bath apartment features the best the south of France has to offer. It's close to major destinations, yet far enough away from the crowds, noise, and traffic to provide a real vacation. The village of Cavaliere is part of Le Lavandou. The apartment is within walking distance of a grocery, post office, shops, a bakery, traiteur, beauty salon, an ATM, and about a dozen restaurants. Cavaliere is also known as a water sports beach -- with sailing, scuba diving, jet-skiing, parasailing, and swimming in the summer. The distance from the balcony to the water is less than ten meters/30 feet. This part of the French Riviera is in the Var province, the home of provençal cooking, Cotê de Provence wines, and spectacular beaches. The apartment rents by the week -- from Saturday to Saturday.
