FLAMINGO BEACH OCEAN FRONT VILLA APARTMENT: CHRISTMAS WK NOW OPEN!

As someone wrote in the guest book at the villa " It's like staying in an actors home when the actor is away." Words and pictures cannot possibly describe the experience of this paradise found. If this villa is available and you don't rent it, the loss, sadly, will be yours. Even though I am back at work in my office typing this review, I can close my eyes and I am back in Costa Rica, swaying with the gentle breeze in the hammock above the wading pool gazing out at the magnificent view, enjoying the company of my husband and an ice cold Pilsen. This is the perfect spot for exploring the Guanacaste coastline. The beaches are beyond beautiful, rivaling most in Hawaii and the carribean. The Ticos are some of the warmest, most genuine people you will ever meet: a small wave and an "hola!" will be returned with the biggest smile and wave right back at you! Don't miss out on the small local "sodas". They have the best food! The Castillo, The Shack, and the 2 small soda's on the square in Brasillito are fantastic local dining experiences for just a small amount of money. Babe will be glad to suggest other options, and Don will help deck you out with all the gear you need for a fantastic beach experience. If you want a romantic sunset cruise by a local fisherman, go to the soda in Brasillito on the square run by the cook from France (incredible food, by the way!) and talk to Jovan. His friend, Gallo, is an extremely friendly local fisherman. He took us on the most incredible 3 hour journey, sharing small caves and fishing spots he has probably frequented since he was a young boy. If you are fortunate enough to visit this country and stay with Babe and Don, you will experience the vacation of your life. Thank you Babe, thank you Don, for sharing your paradise found with us.
