Convenient beach access just across the street so the beautiful SPI beaches are just a few steps away! This traditional style beach house has been updated including tile floors, ceiling fans, flat screen TVs with cable, wireless / hi-speed internet, DVDs, gaming system and much more! The upstairs has two bedrooms and a full bathroom plus an extra private sink area. The downstairs is a separate apartment with bedroom, living room, full bathroom and small kitchen. Both kitchens are fully stocked. All linens are provided, plus there is a washer and dryer on premises. Come and enjoy this great island getaway!

The Town of South Padre Island is located at the eastern edge of Cameron County in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, just 30 miles north of the Mexican border. Bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and the Laguna Madre Bay, this little slip of land-a 34-mile-long barrier island, 1/2 mile at its widest point-is not your ordinary beach destination. The island's thriving coastal town provides activities and amenities, while wide expanses of unspoiled dunes preserve nature and privacy. South Padre Island is a year-round vacation destination located at the same latitude as Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Island enjoys a sub-topical environment with mild dry winters, and warm breezy summers. With a winter average temperature of 65 degrees, a summer average temperature of 82 degrees and and an average of 253 days of beautiful sunshine.

Labor Day weekend 2011

This was our third Laborday weekend at this beach house. It just gets better every year. The pool was recently remodeled and looks fantastic. Great place to stay will lots of out door seating arrangments. Plus the beach is right across the street.. You can even see the fire works from the front left side of the balcony.

My family enjoyed the house so much it was nice to come from the beach and swim in you private pool. And the balcony being all around the house was nice to. We enjoyed the short walk to beach from the house and not having to worry about parking was a plus.. The house was a very well kept and made my familys vacation a home away from home that's for sure We can't wait to return.

It was Great!

My wife and 5 teenaged boys were in the house for a week, and it was absolutely great. The boys stayed upstairs, and the downstairs apartment was perfect for my wife and I, and gave us the needed separation from the boys.

The accomodations were great, the pool a real plus, and it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We couldn't ask for anything better and will definitely be making a return trip in the not too distant future.

Highly recommended!!

2009 Labor Day weekend

The Beach House was great,as well as the pool and being able to walk a few feet to the beach. we were 3 couples and we all had a blast,being able to relax in a nice,clean and beautful pool just made it that much better for us. we cant wait til our son turns 2 yrs so we can take him out to enjoy the beach house as much as we enjoyed it.
Jan,provide us with great customer service and easy directions to the Beach House. we will definitely recommend the house to friends and family,this house is great for kids as well they will really love the pool area. we look forwarding in caming back soon,every thing about this house is nice,clean and very roomie.

Great property!

This house was just perfect. Close to beach, clean, nicely decorated and was big enough for 3 families (11 people) Having the pool was the perfect touch. When the kids got tired of the beach they came back and hopped in the pool.

There are no stairs inside the house to give access to the downstairs apartment, you must go outside and walk around to the side. This was really the only downside to this great property and really didn't matter to us at all.

We all had a wonderful time and will be booking this house again for next year!!
