Bologna City Apartment Rental Photos and Description
3 bdrms, 2 bthrms, lounge, more (sleeps 9-10). Very clean, quiet, comfortable
Welcome to Terrazza San Vitale, definitely one of the most comfortable rentals in Bologna, the Italian capital of fun, night life and gourmet cuisine. The key words to describe this great piece of property are: roomy, light-and-bright, central, perfectly furnished and beautifully decorated, cozy, convenient, clean, relaxing. Actually we could add more adjectives, but we prefer you to discover all the pluses we added to this apartment at the best of our zest and taste.
Located in the center of town (Porta San Vitale area - Piazza Maggiore: 15 minutes walk) with public transportation right at the door and the best Bolognese stores and shops, theatres, museums, monuments, etc. at walking distance, Terrazza San Vitale got its name from a very large terrace (about 98 square meters!) furnished and equipped for dining “al fresco” – a barbecue and a gazebo are provided – that will be entirely yours during your stay for added quiet and total relax. The inside is even better: two large bedrooms plus a third one (which is divided from the lounge by a shelving wall) comfortably sleeping up to nine-ten people, two bathrooms, one kitchen, one dining-sitting room, hallway and plenty of storage room all around. Bedding is as follows: one double + a bunk bed in room #1, one double bed that can be split into two singles in room #2, 1 double sofabed in room #3 and a double sofabed in the lounge. Sofabeds are real beds with excellent, firm frames and mattresses.
Although part of a fairly new building, the apartment was refurbished in May 2010 and all its furniture, furnishing and appliances are new and/or in perfect working order. Other important features as a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi internet access, a tv set and an air conditioning system are provided at no extra charge. A private garage is available and directly accessible from the apartment through an elevator. Terrazza San Vitale, a first floor, is located in the back of the building - absolutely no street noise can be heard.
So, either if you are planning to come to Bologna for business or vacation Terrazza San Vitale absolutely qualifies as the place to stay. The Fairground is at a stone’s throw (buses will get you there in no time) and all the major central-northern Italian art cities such as Florence, Venice, Mantua, Ferrara, Padua, the Adriatic shore etc. can be reached in minutes by train (station: 10 minutes). All that will allow you to forget about driving or booking a new hotel room every day – just close the door behind you and enjoy your vacation. We look forward to your visit!

Silvio purchased this apartment in 2007
Why Silvio chose Bologna City
It is centrally located, close to everything and at the same time quiet and somehow secluded from the city mess. It is clean, wide, light-and-bright and features a garage. The big terrace is a true delight in Spring, Summer and Fall!
What makes this apartment unique
Strategically located, Terrazza San Vitale is ideal for those willing to explore Bologna by foot (both the Historical Center and the outskirts) and the nearby Northern/Central Italian cities by train, which is the easiest, most comfortable and reliable, less expensive way to travel around.the Country. The terrace is a big plus not very many rentals have, and ours is definitely the biggest in town! The apartment is ideal for large families, groups.
Guestbook comments from the manager
Terrazza San Vitale is all it is represented to be and more. The apartment really does appear as portrayed in the photos and written description. What the prospective renter cannot glean from the internet is the hospitality and warmth of the host, Silvio, and his family. Silvio’s genuine concern for his guests cannot be overstated. Not only is the apartment spacious, clean and well-stocked (with food, linens, maps, to name a few) but there was a bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen table. After a long day of travel, what a relief to find such a welcome to Bologna! Choosing an apartment over the internet and then sending money to someone you’ve never met is a true leap of faith, but you can rest easy with your choice of Terrazza San Vitale and rest even easier when you get there! You won’t be disappointed!
