Welcome to Terrazza San Vitale, one of the most comfortable rentals in Bologna -- the Italian capital of fun, leisure and gourmet cuisine. The best words to describe our property are: 'roomy, brand new, bright, central, perfectly furnished, beautifully decorated, cozy, convenient, clean, relaxing'. Actually we could add more adjectives, but we prefer you to discover yourself all the pluses Silvio added to his apartment with the greatest of zest and good taste. The apartment is located in the center of town (Porta San Vitale), with public transportation at the door and the top Bolognese stores, theaters, museums, restaurants and nightclubs within walking distance. Terrazza San Vitale's most impressive feature is its very large terrace (about 95 square meters!) which is furnished and equipped for al fresco dining -- including a barbecue and a gazebo that will be entirely yours during your stay..

Terrazza San Vitale - Layout: This extra-cozy apartment features two bedrooms plus a large livingroom comfortably sleeping up to ten people as a whole. There are two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, sitting room, hallway, and plenty of storage room all around.

Although part of a fairly new building, the apartment was thoroughly refurbished in May 2009; all the furniture, furnishings, and appliances are brand new. Additional amenities include a washing machine, dishwasher, telephone (free local calls), wifi broadband internet connection, a TV/DVD -- all provided at no extra charge. Terrazza San Vitale is air conditioned. A private garage is available and directly accessible from the apartment through an elevator. So if you're planning to come to Bologna for either business or a vacation, Terrazza San Vitale absolutely qualifies as the place to be.

Convenient to all spots in town - and more: All major spots in town are within walking distance, with Piazza Maggiore (the heart of the Medieval center of Bologna) no more than 15 minutes walk, the Opera House (Teatro Comunale, only about 700 mts), the University District (500 mts) and all the classiest stores and shops (fashion, etc.). The Fairground is a stone's throw (buses will get you there in no time - stop right at the door), and all the major central-northern Italian art cities such as Florence, Venice, Mantua, Ferrara, Padua, and the Adriatic shore can be reached in minutes by train (station: about 1 km, with bus). That will allow you to forget about a rental car or having to book an hotel room in a different city every day. So just close the door behind you and enjoy your Bolognese vacation.

It is centrally located, close to everything and at the same time quiet and somehow secluded from the city mess. It is clean, wide, light-and-bright and features a garage. The big terrace is a true delight in Spring, Summer and Fall!

What makes this apartment unique

Strategically located, Terrazza San Vitale is ideal for those willing to explore Bologna by foot (both the Historical Center and the outskirts) and the nearby Northern/Central Italian cities by train, which is the easiest, most comfortable and reliable, less expensive way to travel around.the Country. The terrace is a big plus not very many rentals have, and ours is definitely the biggest in town! The apartment is ideal for large families, groups.

Terrazza - A perfect stay

Terrazza San Vitale is all it is represented to be and more. The apartment really does appear as portrayed in the photos and written description. What the prospective renter cannot glean from the internet is the hospitality and warmth of the host, Silvio, and his family. Silvio’s genuine concern for his guests cannot be overstated. Not only is the apartment spacious, clean and well-stocked (with food, linens, maps, to name a few) but there was a bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen table. After a long day of travel, what a relief to find such a welcome to Bologna! Choosing an apartment over the internet and then sending money to someone you’ve never met is a true leap of faith, but you can rest easy with your choice of Terrazza San Vitale and rest even easier when you get there! You won’t be disappointed!

Casa situata a pochi passi dal centro di Bologna, situata in una zona silenziosa, pulita spaziosa e molto ben tenuta. Ringrazio il proprietario perchè è stato veramente disponibile. Nei 5 giorni che ho trascorso in questa casa io e i miei amici ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene. La consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che vogliano trascorrere una vacanza nella città di Bologna.

Wonderful!

The apartment was wonderful. We were greeted by the owner who spent time telling us about the area. He showed us where the bus stop was and gave us bus numbers that we would need. He showed us the grocery store which is just a few blocks away. The apartment was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen is compact but had everything that you would need such as sharp knives, pans and dishes. We were very surprised that the owner had provided food and drink to get us started. The bathrooms were also stocked with everything you could need from soap and shampoo to a mending kit. We had rented a car and appreciated the garage as street parking would have been impossible. Bologna is a beautiful city and we were able to hop on a bus or take a short walk and quickly be in the historic center. The location of the apartment was wonderful for touring. We were able to quickly get on the highway day trip to Parma, Ravenna, Florence and Venice. The owner, apartment and location all made us feel welcome and added to our holiday enjoyment.

Terraza muy grande, piso limpio y acogedor

Piso situado al centro de la ciudad, con fácil acceso. Situada en un entorno muy tranquilo y sin ruidos. No tiene vistas pero cuenta con una terraza muy grande. Muy limpio y acogedor. Pero lo que más se agradece es la amabilidad y hospitalidad ofrecidas por su dueño el Sr. Silvio. Ofrece una serie de detalles para que la estancia en su vivienda resulte acogedora, tranquila y feliz y lo consigue realmente. Muchas Gracias por todos sus servicios Sr. Silvio. Hemos estado varias veces en Italia, en alquiler de apartamento, y realmente en esta ocasión ha conseguido impresionarnos favorablemente.
