This spacious townhome is a beautiful 1,875 square-foot, oceanfront dream -- with wonderful decor and murals throughout. And it's updated on a regular basis.

The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, a balcony looking out to the ocean, a full-size bath, and a color TV/VCR. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a full-size bath. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, a full bath, and a deck looking out to the ocean.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove/oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffeemaker, pots and pans, dishes, and just about everything you could think of. The washer/dryer is located off the kitchen.

The dining/living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa, a dinner table with six chairs, a bar with three bar stools, a stereo/CD player, a 42' mounted TV/DVD, and several movies -- all suited for family viewing. The deck off the living room has two tables and eight chairs -- ideal for sitting and watching the waves roll in and out.

The townhome is completely furnished with everything you'll need -- including a one-car garage. Just bring your linens and towels. We have tried to think of everything else, to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one.

Carolina Beach has that small-town, not-heavily-populated 'feel' about it. It's located on an island that is shared with Kure Beach and Fort Fisher.

Bluewater is conveniently located approximately two miles from a large Food Lion grocery store, CVS, a movie theatre, miniature golf, an amusement park, and a public boat dock where you can book a dinner cruise or a fishing charter -- or simply watch the day's catch come in.

Carolina Beach also boasts some very good restaurants including seafood, Italian, and American restaurants -- some of which are within walking distance of our home.

So, leave your worries at home and come here to relax. It's time to come to the beach.

Better than I imagined

This was our first trip to Carolina Beach, we generally go to the Outer Banks but thought we would try a new area this year. The house itself was nicer than the pictured showed and there was WiFi in the house which was a bonus! In addition, it was very clean with great views and easy access to the beach. The location of the house is ideal, the section of the beach it is on seemed to be less crowded than the rest of the beach (on July 4th at that!). In addition, the location allowed for you to walk to a great walk-up hamburger/BBQ place, convenience store and lots of restaurants. You truly can park your car and not worry about a thing! The beach house was stocked with lots of beach toys, boogie board, beach chairs etc. The owner was very responsive and friendly which was a bonus. If you are considering trying Carolina Beach for the first time, or have gone previously, you can't beat the location and value of this property!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We have enjoyed Bluewater for the past several years and every year there is something new for us to enjoy. We have enjoyed this condo so much that we increased our vacation to two weeks in 2006. One of our favorite new activities was the Sunday night movie at the lake;what a great family evening! We also found new areas for adventure in the helpful book that Trish leaves so we also went kayaking this vacation. We can hardly wait for our next time at Bluewater.

Trish, thanks for blocking our week in April for us. We have always had a great time at your condo. The place looks great. The best week we had was two years ago (in September/October) when we saw the sea turtles hatch right in front of the property. That was a once in a lifetime thing for us all, an experience we will never forget. See you in April. P.S. I checked out Bluewater 2 and it looks great, maybe another time.
