The community offers free concerts at the Town Dock and Town Beach during the summer months. Newport, Narragansett Pier, and the University of Rhode Island are all within a 20-minute ride. FoxWoods , Mohigan Sun Casinos and Mystic Seaport are within 45 mins.

Navy Family Staying A Bit Off Season

Due to my husband's orders, we needed somewhere to stay for a period of two months. It was such a comforting environment. It is on a quiet cove within 1/10 mile to a quaint New England Village. We were here to watch summer change to the brilliant fall colors and were not a bit disappointed. Wickford allows very easy access to Newport, Narragansett, Providence, truly central. The house is filled with books, comfy couches, and fully stocked with dishes, laundry items, lawn chairs, all you should need(even a pot big enough for lobster)! Come, ENJOY, and recharged; we did.
