Kihei Vacation Rental condo

Our stay with Janna and Richard was better than we ever could have imagined. We wanted somewhere small, close to the beach, and quiet where we could spend our honeymoon. Their location only has four units, is 20 steps from the sand, and the only sounds we heard were the waves. Janna and Richard felt like family friends, super friendly, very hospitable, and just so nice. One of the reasons why I chose to stay with them is that they live where their condos are. Many people rent their condos and live in other states and even countries, so I knew that things would be well taken care of. The breezes from the beach through our condo were incredible. It was like natural air conditioning. I got married in Maui at a beach front restaurant, but if I had known before I booked it that they hosted weddings, I would have chosen to have my wedding there in a heartbeat. It is the perfect location to have a small, private, romantic wedding without people staring at you everytime you walk through the bar. Luckily, Janna was able to do my flowers for a MUCH better price than I was offered through my wedding coordinator. I'm sooooo happy I chose to have her do them because they were absolutely GORGEOUS!! Also, I found out later that my wedding coordinator was planning on giving me a store bought bouquet with long stems but had called it "hand tied" in the description. I got all the flowers I wanted and Janna had a great eye for what looked good together, as I was not very experienced with picking bouquets. She knew that I would be out in the sun for many hours before the ceremony taking pictures, so she made my bouquets right before I was to pick them up, so they would stay fresher longer. If you would like to have a second home in Maui that you can't wait to come back to (I actually was depressed going home), then stay with Janna and Richard. Their home and location will be your paradise while you are there.

The Aikane beautiful! Janna and Richard are great hosts who take pride in their place. Beautiful ocean views. Jacuzzi is wonderful. Would stay here again!

We stayed at Aikane for two weeks on our honeymoon. The owners were extremely hospitable and were available to us at all times if needed. They were also very knowledgeable about activities on the island, which was helpful with our planning. The condo includes kitchen dishes/pans/appliances, bath/beach towels, and beach chairs, which was very beneficial as we traveled from Virginia. Being a private residence, it was very peaceful and quiet throughout out our two week stay. It was a perfect vacation spot. We can't wait to go back and celebrate an anniversary. Hopefully, sooner than later! =)
