River Run Cottage offers the serenity of country comfort along with easy accessibility to downtown Leavenworth and the many activites Leavenworth has to offer. Watch the River Rafters load and head down river from your comfortable covered deck. It's a bird-lovers paradise, year-round, with frequent sittings of bald eagle, osprey, Canadian geese and ducks. We even had a swan visit us last year! Often snowy winters bring in playful otters across the river from the Cottage.

You have easy access to a small, sandy beach and for cooler evenings, a fire pit in the front 1/2 acre. Lots of salmon and steelhead are in the river and fishing is permitted when season is open.

Although in a private setting, the Cottage is only two miles from the Bavarian Village, close to the festivals, fine restaurants, out-of-this-world shopping and live theater, Other nearby activities include river rafting, hiking, cross-country skiing, golfing, parks and scenic drives.

WE OFFER COMPLIMENTARY CONCIERGE assistance for our guests through our partner, Leavenworth Concierge. This includes activity bookings, dining reservations, spa reservations and more. You can be on autopilot while visiting without the hassle of arranging your own activities. Information about these services will be in your welcome letter and in the Cottage on your arrival. We also offer discounted shuttling to and from town through our partner, Leavenworth Shuttle & Taxi. No more parking difficulties!

About Ann

Life seems to revolve around the grandkids these days - all 11 of them... so far. We moved to Leavenworth and purchased property along the Wenatchee River in 1967, the year we were married. In 2000 the dream of a 'Cottage' was fulfilled.

The Cottage is on the same property as our family home. We're surrounded by orchards, hills and river and along with our Cottage guests, enjoy seasonal changes along with river; wildlife, fishing for salmon and steelhead and sitting on the beach in the summer.

Close proximity to town is great, especially in the snowy winter months. Our kids live, while not in town, close enough to visit often and the grands love the wide open lawn (soccer!), gardens and river as much as we do, so we see them often.

Not only was this place reasonably priced but it was just 2 miles from Leavenworth right next to a rafting company that was phenomenal and It had everything we needed .This place is worth the money and then some will definitely be coming back again my favorite part was the rafting company next door and it's convenience . I was able to come right Back to cabin change out of my wet suit and make a steak dinner and sit in the hot tub doesn't get better than that

My girlfriend and I stayed here and it was the perfect getaway from hectic Seattle life. Cozy, private and a perfect place to relax. We spent the weekend reading, playing cards and soaking in the hot tub. Why stay in a downtown hotel when you can stay just outside right next to the river?

Me and my husband had an amazing time! We have never been to Leavenworth and it was a much needed get away. We haven't been away without the kids in about 8 years and it was a great choice. Thank you so much! We will for sure be back and the hot tub was amazing.

Over four weeks that we spent at Riverrun, we loved watching the river move by and the seasons change from fall to winter, from golden foliage to snowy fields. The cottage was comfortable and cozy with all the amenities we could want: washer/dry, television, Internet! Close to town but not too close. We felt like we were on our own little island. The hot tub was a plus! One could sit there and watch the river. The owner was very helpful (we loved Paz restaurant and went back) and made sure that we had all the bedding, towels and supplies that we needed. Her once a week "spiffing" helped keep the cottage clean and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
