This five bedroom house features a new wrap around open balcony that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. No road between house and beach. There is a gate on the front yard with direct access to beach. 5bd rate is $2800 high season, call for off season rates. February through August and major holidays considered high season. Fenced front and backyards for pets and small children. Three minutes (1.5 miles )North of Cocoa Beach pier. There are all water sports in the area including salt water and fresh water boat charters for fishing. The surf fishing on site is great. Other activities include offshore gambling, bird-watching, and watching the green turtles nesting. Disney World, Daytona Speedway, and other Orlando attractions are less than one hour away.

Cleaning fee is $125.00 for 1-3 bedrooms and $250.00 for 4-5 bedrooms. You may clean house yourself and save on this fee.

Shuttle & Rocket launches: Plan your trip around a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral Air Station or a space shuttle launch from Kennedy Space Center. The rocket launch pads can be seem from the 2nd floor balcony or on the beach. The oceanfront house is located close enough to either launch type that the window will rattle !!!

Orlando Attractions / Disney World / NASCAR: Cocoa Beach - Cape Canaveral area is the closest beach to Orlando attactions such as Disney World, Sea World, the Orlando Convention center, and Universal Studios. The drive time is about 45 minutes from the house. Orlando airport is only 30 minutes away. Daytona Speedway is only 50 minutes North of this area and we have less traffic and people than Daytona Beach !!!!

Beach Time: The beaches here are not crowded like the ones in Europe according to our international guests. The beaches here are mainly for a slower paced family-type activities, if you want a 'party' atmosphere try Daytona or South Florida beaches which have a greater night life which also includes higher prices and heavier traffic.

House is in a great location. Right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Owner was easy to work with and accommodating, although I never saw/heard from him during my stay. Despite obvious favorable exterior characteristics, I was disappointed with the interior's overall cleanliness. The carpet is in serious need of replacement (visible dirt and stained throughout). For the cleaning fee I paid, it was visibly not up to expectations (remnants left on speakers in dining room were one clear indication of spotty cleaning). With some effort to spruce up the interior (even to just minimal standards for a standard beach rental), this would be a great rental beach house.
