Fabulous vacation spot

The description of the unit is very accurate, but until you are actually there, you will not believe it. My husband and I were in Maui for 7 days with my son (4.5), my parents (66 & 70) for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary.
My parents were perfectly happy to be condo-bound for the first couple of days when my son wasn't feeling well. From the lanai, you can see the beach and the pool, but you can't really hear the noises. When the afternoon wind kicked up, you cant feel the wind on the lanai, we had dinner on the lanai every night! we swim at the beach and the pool everyday. We cooked at the condo everyday with the well stock spice rack, either BBQ by the pool or the kitchen. The owners really stock up the place, or maybe the previous visitors leave nonparishables behind. We even used the herb garden quite a bit. The staff on site were great!
The unit is close to lots of little eateries in Kehei, where locals go. We had lunch at "da kitchen" and "coconut fish cafe". We found both places through Yelp.
The drive from the place to Halaekala was about 1 hr, Maalaea Ocean Center 20 min, 40 min to ioa valley, 30 min to airport. We booked our 6:30am snorkeling trip and our helicopter ride too with Makena Resort and golf. They were great too.
The owners were very responsive via email and text and excellent to work with. Overall, love the place, wish we can come back every year! Thanks for sharing the condo with us.
