Pukoo House Rental Photos and Description
3BR Oceanfront, sleeps 4 adults & 2 children, Puko'o, Molokai, Hawaii USA
Pukoo, Molokai is the place for those looking for peace and solitude. Away from the hustle and bustle of overcrowded islands, Molokai offers a real escape. Experience Tahitian-style architecture combined with beachfront living.
Our home sits on a one-half mile pristine beach with incredible views of West Maui, Lanai, and Kohoolawe. Decks and hide-away doors give you the feeling of living in a thatched hut, in a tropical paradise.
An outer reef provides protection from ocean swells so that young and old alike can enjoy the ocean without concern for breaking waves or strong currents. Snorkeling is very friendly as the water depth is waist to head high from the beach to the reef (one-half mile).
Pukoo, Molokai lies on the 'East End' of Molokai, and enjoys a consistent trade wind breeze, which keeps our home cool.
Our home is newly constructed, and features plaster walls, rattan ceilings, and tropical landscaping.
Our 'Cook House' features a very open dining, living, and kitchen area, and two large decks. All doors disappear to create an open, outdoor living experience -- dreamed of only in the tropical climate.
The puunene (large built-in couch) provides great lounging for the whole family, and a great spot to view the large-screen TV. Our bamboo dining table seats eight in luxury, and offers an unrivaled view of Maui. The front lanai (deck) features generous bamboo chairs and a couch for the ultimate experience in enjoying morning coffee or an evening cocktail.
Our separate Sleep House features a master bedroom with a California king-size bed, plaster walls, and rattan ceilings. Custom bamboo and cedar cabinets finish off the sleeping experience. The Sleep House also has a bedroom for one, and a bathroom.
A separate guest room sits toward the back of the property, and offers a king-size bed for a second couple, or additional family members.
Adjacent to the Sleep House is a private outdoor shower, surrounded by tropical plantings.
