Perfect city and secluded getaway in Asheville!

Joel keeps the place exactly as the pics show. This is a great hidden treasure near the downtown, but you feel like you are deep in the mountains. Walk, to downtown Asheville, drive to Biltmore and explore the mountains. It is all here and easy to get to and around.

I was lucky enough to stay here during my last visit to Asheville. You couldn't ask for more perfect accomodations and location. The view is amazing and the double doors facing dowtown open so that you can relax on the couch and enjoy the breeze and view. Everything was wonderful! Thanks so much!

We picked this cottage because it allowed us to walk downtown, but that was only one of the advantages of living there. We spent a week in the treetops with beautiful views and a simple, restful decor. Everything was provided and the owner was very available, making excellent suggestions for must-do activities in Asheville. We had a wonderful week.

We spent a wonderful week in the bungalow in Nov., just as the leaves were falling.

The location is great. A pleasant 20-minute walk to downtown.

The views from the eagle's nest (a high deck accessible via an external spiral staircase) are incredible.

Amenities are ample. Having the washer/dryer made our trip much easier, as did the provided linens and towels.

The owner is also dog friendly--a huge plus.

Absolutely as advertised. A great find!

What a fortunate find. After spending a month at Bamboo Bungalow it is difficult to leave. The views from the deck(s) of downtown Asheville with the mountains in the distance could not be rivaled. Whether you’re sitting inside or outside you feel like you’re in the treetops and away from it all, yet you are only minutes from all the restaurants and galleries of downtown. The surrounding neighborhoods are a delight as well. I spent many evenings on long walks soaking up the architecture and visiting nearby shops. I’ll recommend this to anyone wanting to retreat to Asheville, it can’t be beat and you won’t be disappointed.
