Let our beach side condo be your 'home away from home' for your next vacation. It's fully equipped, sparkling clean, and ready for your arrival. There is a complete kitchen, a private bath, and sleeping accommodations for up to six persons. After parking your car in our private gated parking area, walk through a lovely landscaped courtyard to the front door. Enter the comfortably furnished living room, and see the dining area and kitchen off to your left. Proceed to the hallway and two bedrooms in the rear. You'll see the lovely green park across the street, and you can take a peek at the beach and ocean from the bedroom windows. Walk across quiet Sandyland Road to the 'world's safest beach' -- for swimming, surfing, beach combing, bird watching, or just sitting on the sand and building sand castles! Or stroll up the street to the charming small town shops, galleries, restaurants, and the weekly farmers market. Take a train ride to Santa Barbara or Los Angeles.

This was a great rental: convenient, comfortable, clean. The full-time neighbors are great resources--very friendly. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect. It really is a home that you rent rather than a sterile apartment with only the barest necessities, as you often find.

Best little beach town`

My husband and I have been visiting and staying in Carpinteria for 10 years and have rented the condo from Claire for the past 5 years. It is the best deal in town with all the perks that makes our vacation something to look forward to each year. Now with two young girls to enjoy the time away from home, this has become a family tradition each year. The beach is so close that we do not need to lug all of our supplies to the beach or search for a bathroom to use when spending time on the beach. We will quickly walk back to refill our drinks or grab a snack and head back to our spot on the lovely sand. Most of the days are sunny and warm during the week we stay in May.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
