In Guests' Words -- #1:
2006 (from Fla.):
Just wanted to say hello and let you know that we think of you and the cottage. We often reminisce about the time we spent in Fitzwilliam -- the whoopie pies, book store, long walks, beach, people, cabin... What a special place. We really enjoyed it. Thanks for the great memories.
In Guests' Words -- #2:
2008 (from the UK):
Beautiful, clean, well-maintained cabin by the lake. Well-equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezer, and hot tub. Kitchen diner, living room, porch, 2 bedrooms and two canoes and a kayak. Nearest town Fitzwilliam is 3 miles away so you need a car if you don't like walking, though the area round the lake is beautiful and well worth walks. Fitzwilliam is like an English village complete with village green that is keen to preserve its heritage. Only caveats; the entrance to the toilets is through one of bedrooms but there is a screen and be careful driving down the lane to it as the track can damage low cars. Bring some CD's as the television reception is awful. Better still tire yourself out with walks and canoeing. We stayed in 2006 and booked it again in 2008 without hesitation
