On the main level is another bedroom/full bath off the kitchen with a queen bed. Kitchen is completely stocked with all your cooking and baking needs. Andy and I live in sunny Florida so we love to spend time in the mountains. We have 3 kids and between high school and college breaks we still manage to spend several long family weekends in the mountains.
The area between Boone and Banner Elk is beautiful. In the summer there is lots to do, hiking, biking, rafting and zip lining. Fall season brings the beautiful autumn colors on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In the winter there is snow tubing, skiing and ice skating. The picture of Andy and I was taken before a hike around Sims Pond.
