In a beautiful early 18th Century landmark building, the apartment has all the charm and convenience of a Parisian pied-à-terre. It is ideally located for visiting Paris on foot, within easy walking distance to several Left Bank Museums (Orsay, Rodin, Maillol) and shopping on the rue du Bac, rue de Bourgogne and rue de Sèvres (inc. the famous Grande Epicerie du Bon Marché). Tour Eiffel and Saint Germain des Près are only 20 minutes away on foot, while the Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Champs Elysées and Grand Palais are also a twenty-minute walk away. Several bus and subway lines. Several Velib spots (Paris bike hire operation) nearby. The apartment is very quiet, looking onto courtyards and roofs. This 1 bedroom apartment has recently been renovated, while retaining all of the elegance of this landmark address (no lift), at the heart of the aristocratic Faubourg Saint Germain district of the Left Bank.

Champs Elysées and Tuileries gardens are a short walk away, across the river. It is a very safe and quiet neighbourhood, with shops and restaurants.

This place made our experience in Paris all the more magical. It was chic, stylish, clean and had every home appliance one would need. The area is so very quiet and elegant yet a walk away from St. Germain des Pres, Quartier Latin, Montparnasse, Champs Ellysse and a few Metro Stations as well. What you read in the posting on Home Away regarding this property is what you will get and the owner was ever so helpful. We loved the place and would definately try to stay in it should I visit Paris again.
