This charming property is a favorite by all who have rented it. Mudroom Entrance to Three first floor bedrooms all with Queen Beds. All beds have down feather beds, down comforters and luxury linens. Hall Bath with tub/shower and sink. Master has it's own bath with a stall shower and no tub and Washer/Dryer. Upstairs is an authentic barn Great Room with a dining table overlooking a field, a fully equipped cooks kitchen with breakfast bar for two. The great room has an enormous sectional with a queen size pullout bed. Wood burning stove, large flat screen TV, IPOD dock and speakers, wireless Internet and an abundance of Vermont Charm. This property is on the shuttle bus route and is minutes from the mountain (3 miles to the main lot and 2 miles to the Toll Road Lift). It is the perfect location; halfway between the Mountain and the charming village of Stowe. Book this charming property for a true Vermont Ski House experience!

Wonderful New Year's Get Away

A group of 3 couples and 2 dogs stayed at the Barn over New Years 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable and inviting. The Ski Conditions weren't ideal but the house was perfect for just hanging out. Most of our time was spent lounging on the huge sectional in the great room while we kept the fire stoked in the woodstove.

Great proximity to both the mountain and the town, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay at Stowe for a few days.

We had a wonderful time in our 3 nights at this barn. Wish we could have stayed longeer! 3 downstairs bedrooms all had wonderfully comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. Upstairs had a fully stocked kitchen. It provided us a great place to cook for our 8 guests. The main room was definitely our favorite. The plush red couch was so comfortable and could easily seat all 8 people. It slept 2 people on the fold out at night too. TV and ipod speakers both worked great. Wood burning stove was a nice touch and worked well as a fireplace, giving the room the perfect ambience to go with our mountain setting.

Beautiful house, with a great view of the snowy meadow out one side. It was clean and well appointed. The owner was paticulary helpful answering questions in the time leading up to our stay. The location was ideal. No more than 5 minutes up Mountain Rd. to the mountain or 5 minutes back down Mountain Rd. to the main area of town. I don't think we could have asked for anything else to make our weekend more perfect!
